Hi! Im Isabella Marie Anderson, but you can call me Ella. This is the story of my life. It all started with a crush. And a big one too.
It was a warm day in Los Angeles, and Ella was just another 13 year old girl getting ready for yet another day of 7th grade. The smell of pancakes wafted through the kitchen as she tromped down the steps. She sat down at breakfast with her parents and sighed. Her mom looked concerned but just brushed it off as Ella wasn't a morning person. Ella silently ate her food and stood up. When she was ready, Ella said her goodbyes and headed to her bus stop. So, Ella armed herself with her journal, slipped on her favorite Jacket that her best friend left at her house, and headed out. She sat at her bus stop, alone as usual, with the only activity being staring at her best friend Dimitri (or Mitri for short) while he sat outside on his porch enjoying the cool morning air before his mom drove him to school. Ella had the biggest crush on him, but she didn't want to ruin their friendship. Mitri usually drove to school, so within he was usually gone by now, or at least on his porch. Not today, nope. Because today, he sat at the bus stop. Right next to Ella. And scared the hell out of her. Now was usually the time she pulled out her journal to write about Dimitri, but there he was, sitting, next to her. "Privyet Ella!" Mitri said, in his cute as usual Russian accent. Ella couldn't help but blush, she loved how different he sounded. He was special. "Hey Mitri" was all she thought to say. As they waited for the bus a random conversation cracking jokes about soviet Russia and making lame puns like they usually do. Ella loved their random conversations. They usually ended in a good laugh and leaning into each other with immense cringe. Soon enough, the bus came rolling on through. The only open spot, no shocker, was next to Ella. Mitri sat on the inside. Ella's friend Amber sat in the seat right beside her. They all had a normal conversation about obviously random things until things died down. "Hey Ella, how is your journal going?" She said in a failed whisper. Ella internally cringed, shushed her and smacked her in the arm "What journal?" Mitri asked. Like I said, Mitri was her best friend. He knew everything about Ella! Anything he didn't know about had to be adressed.
