Ever woken up by an event coming up either good or bad? Well, if not, that happened to me this morning. I had totally forgotten about the event here at small Chesterfield. It was the event no one could miss because it would be talked all over the country.
But before I go on with what the event is about and what I have to do, I'll be talking about my life from before.
I live in this really small town called Chesterfield. It has woods and all but has a really nice country side.
Yes, I am a country girl and so are the people here in this town. My dad (Daniel) is one to be afraid of since he gets extremely strict with people that come around me. He had a tough life in his early age. He was one of the poorest people and aggressively treated by other people. This is how he got his character. He was more aggressive towards most people when my mom passed away. I was only a small kid at the age of 7 when she passed away. I still remember her with her soft chestnut hair, her big hazel eyes, and small figure. I had inherited most of her appearance except for her eyes. Her eyes were hazel while mine are plain dark brown. I inherited my dads eyes. My dad had pitch black hair, his dark brown eyes, and big bulky body (which scares the crap out of everyone).
In my family my mom was the sweetest and most caring person I have ever met. My dad was the strong headed guy. I was the firecracker in the family; sometimes I was nice and caring but sometimes I would explode like a bomb.
My grandparents died 2 years ago and the only close family I had was my dad. My dog Lobo and my brown horse Chestnut were considered my family. I guess you could say I had a some family that didn't have the same blood.
Chesterfield didn't specifically have a high school for me to attend so basically after middle school I helped my dad do house chores such as feed our animals, clean the garden, bring or take mail or other stuff, etc. My dad always did the harder stuff since he said I was 'weaker'.
I am now 18 without any studies or plans on going to college. After all my dad said it was just a waste of money and time. I didn't agree at first but then I knew that even if I begged he would always say the same thing.
I was more of an innocent child and obeyed what people told me to do. I may be have a happy and energetic soul but I still kept my ground to make my dad happy. Even after all the things that he's been through he's held his head up higher than ever so I'd rather help him keep it like that and have him happier like how he used to be when my mom died.
I didn't have a childhood as tough as my dad's but what child would want to know one morning that their loving mother died? No one right? My dad says I was a strong little girl that overcame the death of a mother at 7 years old. It was hard but I still held my head high to move on of my grief.
Now, this is my life from before and today will be a very interesting day.
Oh, and by the way, my name is Mayflower Bryan.
