I glare into the light with a huge smile on my face. I shudder as I step out of the elevator onto mount Olympus.
"Violet? My dear granddaughter?" I hear grandpa boom from the forge. I start to jog towards the forge, my dark brown almost black colored hair flowing behind me.
"Grandpa!" I call out as I reach the colons at the entrance to the forge. I instantly am wraped in thick tan colored arms. I inhale the sent of smoke and metal happily and look up at my grandpa Hepestus's beard. "Is Tyson here?" I ask. Tyson is my dad's friend Percy's brother. He's a son of Poesidon.
"What! And forget about your dear old grandpa here! I am hurt Violet!" Grandpa says relesing me from his bear hug.
"Grandpa! You know I'll never forget about you." I giggle at his fake pain.
"You better not my little flame." Grandpa says tickling my sides. I giggle walking away towards whare I hear the cyclops clanging away on a piece of metal assumbly.
"Tyson?" I shout walking past the huge furnace, barely feeling the heat radiate from the flames.
"Violet? Is that you?" I hear the clanging stop and books of his footsteps coming towards me.
"Hello!" I hear him say as his huge body towers over me. Okay I am really short but the guy is almost 7 feet. I am exactly 4'11. and I'm 15. Its kinda sad.
"I finshed the hilt of the sword you wanted. It's made of this metal that Hepestus made. So it's basically unbreakable." Tyson says haipply.
"Thanks Tyson." I say taking the hilt from the shelf that the the hilt lays on.
"Grandpa! I'm leaving!" I shout as I take a breath of clean fresh air outside of the forge.
"So soon?" Grandpa says from behind me.
"You know mom will be worried sick if I'm late to lunch. Bye grandpa." I say turning and kissing his cheek quickly then heading back to the elevator to the Empire State Building.

I wake up to the pecking of birds and the screaming of my dad.
"Shut up you stupid beasts!" I hear my dad screaming. It's a good thing that we live in the side of a mountain in an abandoned valley or the neighbors would be mad.
"Dad! Go back to sleep!" I yell wrenching open my window. "Leo Valdez you get you but in here right this moment!" I hear my mom yell. I can tell that her face is red and she's not in a good mood by her tone. I laugh to myself then close my window and grab my satchel. Today I am leaving to go to Camp Half Blood. Even though I'm not technically a demigod, I can still go because I have godly blood in me.
"Violet! Breakfast!" I hear mom say outside of my bedroom door.
"Okay thanks mom." I say before opening my door and blowing out my lamp. My mom doesn't like modern technology, like lightbulbs. So instead we have lamps (that you light) and candles.

After breakfast I get my phone that my dad made for me, my gloves from Aphrodite to protect from burns and cuts on my hands, and my enchanted hand bag that doesn't have a bottom. I packed all my stuff in along with my pillow and blankets.
"Bye mom. Bye dad." I say at the entrance to the front garden.
"Awe bye honey. Now don't do anything stupid and don't get in eyesight of skittles." Mom warns me hugging me tightly. I'm a few inches taller than her so it's kinda awkward but hey she's my mom.
Dad quickly embraces me soon after mom lets go.
"Bye kiddo. Stay out of trouble if your anything like you mom or ignore everything I say if your even a little bit like me." He says tugging on my dark brown ponytail.
"Sure thing. Bye. See you in a few months." I say leaving the garden and starting on my way to Camp Half Blood.
