Dan and Phil were at a fancy restaurant got dinner that night
luckily they got a private booth so Dan didn't have to worry about their fans seeing them
or other people
he felt so fat in the suit he bought today he didn't know what to do
"Dan are you okay?" phil asked kindly
"yeah im fine phil"
"good because ive got something I need to ask you"
dan froze
Was phil going to break up with him,he knew he hadn't really been paying attention recently,only because he as stressed
phil stood up and walked over so he was closer to dan
then he got down on one knee
"okay Dan we've been together for 6 years and i thought it was about time i asked you this
you make me so happy and i can't imagine life without you,you're my world Dan and you are the most important person in my life,i don't know where i'd be if it weren't for you" phil said
dan was just staring at phil,letting a stray tear roll down his face
"so, Daniel James Howell,will you marry me?" phil asked more nervous than he had ever been
"Phil. . . I. . . Of course i will,i love you so much" dan said attacking phil in a bone crushing hug
"thank god" phil said "i thought you were gonna say no"
"i love you phil"
"i love you too Dan"
"can we go home now though,i'm tired and i'm stuffed?" dan asked
"of course bear"

2 weeks after phil preposed dan had only eaten 2 full meals and 3 tiny blocks of cheese,he had lost a lot of weight but kept on wearing phils baggy hoodies so he didn't look so slim,Phil hadn't noticed
until now
Dan was in the office pinning some things on the wall when he felt two arms snake round his waist.He smiled
"Hello lion"
phil didn't respond he just kept placing small kisses on Dans neck
dan turned around to face phil and kissed him with all the love he had inside him
Phil smiled into the kiss and Dan began to unbutton phil's shirt
once phil's shirt was off he tugged on dans hodie as a sign for him to take it off
when it was off Phil stopped what he was doing and looked at Dan
"Dan,whats happened to you,how did i not notice,im such a bad boyfriend,i'm so sorry!!"
Phil just broke down into tears,how could he not notice he thought,he had also noticed marks all up Dan's hip
"DAN!!!" he shouted,not mean just being worried
"I promise you,no matter what i'm going to help you get better,i. . .i . . i love you so much Dan,too much,i can't let you go,i'm so sorry i haven't noticed this"
phil said as he fell to the floor, Dan sat down beside him and said
"Its okay Phil,its not your fault,its. . "
"IT IS MY FAULT DAN!!,I SHOULD HAVE NOTICED THAT YOU WERE GETTING THINNER AND THAT YOU ONLY WEAR LONG SLEEVED HOODIES,I AM THE WORST BOYFRIEND EVER BUT I PROMISE NO MATTER WHAT WE'LL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER,I PROMISE"
Dan just nodded and hugged phil,and said
"you know Phil,after thinking about it i've decided that i just don't give a fuck anymore"
"i'm gonna make you happy again Dan,i promise"
Dan just sat there in phil's arms,tired and hoping what phil was saying,was true.
