*hello guys! this is my first time writing a story and i hope it's not stupid lol enjoy!*:)

Alison's POV:

It was a warm summer night in New York City. Me and my best friend Molly had  just left our brand new apartment. We had discovered a bar down  down the block called Duffy's and were on our way to go check it out as a celebrate for move.

"How much longer, I hate walking!" Molly complained.

"Calm your tits, we are almost there." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Bitch," she mumbled under her breath.

I'm not exactly sure why she calls me that but I put up with it because we have been friends for 16 years. We met in elementary school and basically grew up together. We lived in the same neighborhood and our mothers were great friends. Once it was time to leave home we agreed to move to New York together and figure out what to do with our lives from here. We are currently 22 and doing exactly that.  She can be a little rough around the edges sometimes but I love her anyway.

"Alison, get your shit together, we're here." Molly said as she snapped me out of my thoughts.

We opened the door to Duffy's and we instantly knew it was going to be a good night. There was music playing, people eating and having a good time, maybe we would even meet some new friends. We sat down at the bar and ordered some food. I'm not a very big drinker and I knew that I wasn't going to get out of control. As for Molly, I knew she could get very out of control after drinking too much and it made me nervous.

"So how many drinks are we having tonight?" Molly said a bit too loudly.

"Molly, you know how stupid you are when your drunk." I warned her.

"You're such a worrier, I wasn't aware that I moved in with my mother." she exclaimed.

"Fine," I sighed, "but only one."

"Five." said Molly.

"Three." I said back.

"Six."

"Four."

"Ten."

"Oh god, we'll see." I said.

Molly smiled evilly as the waiter brought over appetizers. All of a sudden I heard banging at the other end of the bar. I saw two figures, obviously drunk, stumbling over each other and laughing like maniacs as they made their way to the karaoke stage. Once they got on stage I nudged Molly and we both stared. They were a set of girls who looked about our age and obviously had no idea where they were. One was taller than the other and they looked like they had known each other for years. One girl had medium length brown hair and bangs that hung in her face. The only feature that we were able to see was the huge sloppy smile on her face, meaning she was that type of drunk where all she does was laugh or talk nonsense. Her shirt was falling off her shoulder and the first few buttons were undone, revealing a neon pink bra. Her legs were wobbly, like she would topple over any seconds and she had no shoes on. The other girl was shorter and her hair was a mess. It darted out everywhere and her extensions were falling out. Her eyes were red and droopy and her makeup was smeared all over her face. Her crop top was hanging off her shoulder and her jeans were all ripped up. Her bright pink lipstick was smushed all over her face and I don't think she even noticed. Suddenly the shorter of the girls obnoxiously tapped the mic to get everyone's attention.

"HELLO, NEW YORK CITY!" she yelled.

The taller girl stumbled forward and let out a long and loud laugh. I started choking on my beer.

"Stop dying." Molly screamed as she slammed me on the back.

"IT'S MY BUD'S BIRTHDAY TODAY AND WE WANT TO SING YOU A SONG! HIT IT D.J." the shorter girl screamed into the mic.

"Oh dear god, they're not going to sing are they?" Molly said with panic in her eyes.

"I think they are." I said back as we turned our attention to the stage.

"Yeah, hit it." the birthday girl hiccupped into the mic and dissolved into laughter.

All of a sudden, "Rock Me" by One Direction blasted through the speakers. These girls obviously couldn't not sing in the first place, so being drunk did not help them. They began yelling the lyrics into the microphone.

"WE WERE TOGETHER SUMMER '09, WANNA GO BACK THERE EVERY NIGHT, JUST CAN'T LIE IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE." the shorter girl shouted.

"Lyin'...haha...on the beach while the...hehehehaha...sun blew out, playin...hahaahah...his guitar by fire....heheheheh....too loud, oh my my...hahahaah...they could never shut us down...ahaahahahah." The taller girl barely managed to get out over her laughter.

The song seemed to last hours. Molly and I had already downed about four shots and were working on our fifth, trying to sooth our bleeding ears. When the song finally did end the pairs of girls stumbled off the stage and started heading towards us.

"Do not make eye contact with them!" Molly said with her head down.

The girls walked up to us anyways and introduced themselves.

"I'M MAYA." the shorter girl practically yelled at us.

"I'm Maddie and I don't know which one of you to talk to, cause there are like five." the taller girl said while laughing and head spinning slightly.

"Well hi, I'm Alison and this is Molly and happy birthday to you Maddie." I said trying to get them to go away.

"Wanna take some birthday shots with us?" Maddie asked.

"We really shouldn't..." I said.

"Oh come on, what could possibly go wrong!" Molly pleaded.

"Fine, but just a few." I said as I took the shot glass and downed the liquor that was inside.

*2 hours later*

I opened my eyes slightly and immediately felt a pulsing headache coming on. I had no idea what time it was or where I was. I looked around and a nasty smell wafted up my nose. Oh yeah, I'm in the bathroom at Duffy's. I walked out and spotted Molly, Maya and Maddie sitting around the bar with empty shot glasses in front of them. I walked up to them and Maya was telling a story.

"Then I said what's it to you, I can do whatever I want." Maya said.

Everyone laughed and took another shot.

"Hey what's going on over here?" I questioned groggily.

"OH HEY ALISON!" Maya exclaimed.

"Maya was just telling us about a crazy party last weekend." Molly said.

"Yeah man." Maddie said.

"Guys I have a great idea, we should go sing...up there." Maya said gesturing to the karaoke stage.

"Yeah!" we all slurred in agreement and stated heading up to the stage. When we got up there Maddie told the D.J. to play "Midnight Memories" by One Direction.

"MIDNIGHT MEMORIES OH OH OH OHHHH," we all sang, "EVERYWHERE WE GO, NOW WE SAY NO JUST DO IT DO IT DO IT YEAHHHH."

We finished and toppled off the stage. Maya and Molly bowed and Maddie and I were saying we would be here all week. We stumbled out of Duffy's and started heading towards me and Marissa's apartment. On the way there Maddie ran into a trashcan, Maya ripped off her shirt, Marissa puked and I laid in the middle of the sidewalk.

We got to the apartment and stumbled up the stairs. Once inside Maya and Maddie passed out on the bed, Molly passed out on the pool table and it all went black for me.
