I looked at his hand, then his smiling face. I grasped his hand in mine, "Dylan..." I stated. I looked at him, taking in all of his features. He had tousled light brown hair that looked so soft. I scanned my eyes up to his, and took in the beautiful color. They were the bluest eyes I had ever seen. Like an ocean, but not. Like the sky, but not.

A cough interrupted my thoughts. "Like something you see?" He flirted in a joking manner, with and over exaggerated wink added. I laughed and released his hand that I realised I had been holding for the entire time. Feeling bold today, I flirted back with the same joking manner. "Who knows? Maybe."

He laughed at my terrible attempt to flirt back.

I frowned, "Don't laugh at me okay I suck at flirting." I commented putting my hand up. He chuckled. "It's okay, I'm not really either." He leaned in to 'whisper', "I'm actually really awkward, but don't tell anyone. I'm new and I only have two friends so far." He concluded, blushing. Legitimately blushing. Wow, okay, that was really fucking cute. I threw my head back and laughed. "It's okay, I'm awkward too."

He smiled and nudged my side lightly.

"Well then, " He linked our arms together.

"Let's be awkward together."

Jesus Christ. Where has this boy been all my life?

*

Turns out that we had all but three classes together. Gym, Elective, and Math. We had spent the whole day together. He had already met Anna's boyfriend, Zach. So he knew one person he sat with at lunch. He got to know everyone easily. There was me, Anna, Zach, Austin, and Navaeh. We were all really close, and now we had Jason. He fit in with us great. He thought the "A-Team" were stupid also.

The "A-Team" are the group in school that owned the school. Victoria was the "leader" of this annoying ass group. She was the typical all American girl. Cheerleader, on the Student Council, Yearbook commity, and she drove me insane.

The A-Team consisted of Victoria, her three groupies, and 3 members of the football team. Joe McCain, Liam Jisser, and Nic Lake. Typical ass holes and bullies.

All in all, all five of us hated them with a burning passion.

End of August;

It's was now last period, Friday, Science. Jason and I were passing notes about some stupid shit.

The past month we had really gotten to know eachother. I usually didn't open up to people, especially boys. But I just felt like me and Jordan had known eachother for years. I could trust him with anything. I didn't think I had a type for boys, turns out my type is Jordan.

He was coming over to my house today so we could work on our history project about the Civil War.

Oh joy.

Note the sarcasm.

The bell finally rung. I scrapped my books off my desk and made my way to the door. I looked over to my right and there stood Jason. "Hey, you ready to go?" He questioned. I rolled my hazel eyes. "Duh. I've been ready to leave this hell hole since 7 am." I mumbled, grabbing his arm, and pulling him out the door. The blue eyed boy laughed loudly, trailing behind me out the door.

We walked out of the school building, into the parking lot. My eyes scraped over the cars, looking for my blue civic. My eyes landed on it and I walked in it's direction. I glanced to my side, checking that my blue-eyed friend was still following me. Jason was holding his books in his left hand, scrolling through his phone with his right.
