It has been five hours and thirty five minutes since I've started walking into the Yosemite National Park near the borders of Montana. I have been hearing reports from the nearby town of a mysterious creature roaming in this forest. This creature was reportedly terrorizing the villagers, attacking during the night and killing their livestocks. Now, I don't really care about their livestocks or anything at all. But, I was really really pissed with this creature because it destroyed my camp site. I almost forgot, my name is Alexander Smith, son of Athena.

And now, ever since i've started my journey through the thick forest, there has been no sign of any mysterious creature in the area. I was about to return to the village when I heard a rustling sound behind me. I closed my eyes and sensed that there is something hiding behind the bushes. A hellhound.

Now, I am not really concerned if it's a hellhound because I killed many of it's kind while I am traveling. Yet, I was wondering why this certain hellhound is not yet attacking me. Based from what i've observe, hellhounds tend to be a bit aggressive, especially towards a demigod. Suddenly, I heard some low growls all around me. Then, I have realized that the hellhound was not yet attacking me because it was waiting for it's reinforcement.

'Oh boy. They sure are getting wiser, I said to myself.

Using my mist senses, I counted five hellhounds surrounding me.  I carefully grab the hilt of my sword. As soon as the first hellhound pounced on me, I slightly swing my sword which immediately killed the hellhound. Seeing their companion slain, the other hellhounds become very aggressive and all of them pounced on me. I concentrated on my power and shoot fire bolts at two of the hellhound, vaporizing them. I immediately evaded the two more hellhound and attacked them with my sword.  The first hellhound was dead while the other one become slightly wary. It is now looking  at me with fear then suddenly it ran. Now, I would love to kill that hellhound but I was already bored.

Since I was already tired, I chose to set up my tent at the area. But soon as I lay down, I sensed something lurking outside my tent. Without hesitation, I grabbed my sword and went outside to check my surrounding. I walked a mere five meters from my camp when I saw a clearing in the forest. What surprises me is that in the middle of the clearing stood a middle-aged man with a muscular build, curly black hair, blue eyes, elfish features and with a sly grin. He appears to be talking to someone on his phone.

When he saw me, his grin widened.

"Hey Alex! How you've been?"

"Seriously? After sending me on this mission to kill those 'vile creatures' which turned out to be just some hellhounds, that's what you are going to say to me? Way to go, Hermes," I told him.

"What? I brought you some snacks", Hermes told me while grinning.

"What do you want?"

"Can't I visit my nephew once in a while?", he told me as he pouted his lips.

"No. First, we both know that 'I am no longer existing' and two, you are a very busy god. You don't just sprout out of nowhere just to visit a 'dead' demigod. So, enough with the introductions, what is the reason that you offered me this lovely visit?"

" Alright. The council is in dire need of your services once again. There has been reports of increasing monster activities all through-out the country. I hate to do this but Lord Zeus demands your presence," he told me with a sad smile.

I was about to say something when a bright light blinded me. When I opened my eyes, I was already in front of the doors to the Olympian Council. I looked at Hermes and said," You didn't even give me a choice."

He just gave me a sly grin.

"Oh well, just open the door."
