The laws of magic are simple.
They're clearly layed out to us in season 1

1. you can't make someone love you.

2. You can't travel back in time.

3. You can't bring back the dead.

(This one really isn't a rule but I thought I'd add it in) 4. It's almost impossible to travel between magical qnd non-magical worlds.

But throughtout the series, they kinda bend, or break, these rules.

Lets see.

Season 1:
Dead, is dead.
Its impossible to travel between worlds, unless you have a dark curse.

Season 2:
Well you can live if you have no heart.
Well you can travel with a hat or a bean, like we aready have, but they're very rare.*cough**cough*
You can use a curse to make someone think they love you, if you kill someone else.

OUAT in Wonderland:
Let's head off to wonderland through this mirror!
I'll make you love me! Bam! You love me!
I'll bring you back to life! Bam! YOUR ALIVE!!!

Season 3:
Ah, you can bring the dark one back to life, if you trade someones life. Or you could split your heart in two and share. Whatever works.
Well we did use a bean and a shadow to travel to and from neverland. How about another curse to get us to and from the enchanted forest!
Oh yeah, lets take a couples trip back in time and see my parents fall in love, just for a holiday!

Season 4:
You know what, I'm going to kill him, and her, its ok, they'll come back when we leave this book.
Lets go back to Arendelle through this magic door we found in this weird house. And lets pull things through from other worlds. Its fine.

Season 5:
Hey, lets take a trip to camelot! In Granny's!
Oh no, the dark ones have come back from the underworld!
Oh crap, Killian died!
You know what, lets take a trip to the underworld and bring him back to LIFE!

What the hell A&E? Are you just hand it to them on a silver platter next season?
