Fantasy Of Dreams

Chapter 1

The last thing I remember is being surrounded in darkness. I couldn't breathe and was in water. I quickly swim up to the surface and find myself in a forest. I was in a lake? How did I end up here? I try to remember how I ended up here but I got a headache and felt dizzy. I make my way through the lush forest trying to find someone, anyone. I was desperate at this point. It was about afternoon and I feel as though I'm going in circles. I take a rest for a bit and as I laid against a tree I heard water rushing. I got up and slowly went to where I heard it. I came across a creek and drink some of the water. I then look up as I felt as I was being watched. Someone in a dark green hood was looking at me. I stare for a moment and then I go up to the person.

"Excuse me but where am I? I ask nervously. I took another step until the person drew a bow and arrow and pointed it at me. I stood in shock unsure of what was going to happen to me.

"Please help me! My name is Michio and I don't know where I am or what happened! Pleas-" I got caught off by a loud voice.

"WHERE DID YOU GO LITTLE ELF?" Yelled the voice. The person in front of me looked behind for a second and quickly grabbed my arm and ran along side the creek. I ran as fast as I could as I didn't want to know what would happen to me if I stayed. The person then takes a sharp turn into some bushes and we crawl for a while and run into the forest again. We then came to a huge tree and went under it through its roots. I sit down for a second with adrenaline rushing though me.

"Where are we?" I asked the person that saved my life.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WERE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED?!" The person who is apparently a girl yelled at me. She takes off her hood and looks at me then looks at my ears. "What are you?" She asked puzzled. "What do you mean what am I? I'm a human boy" I said but then I looked at her ears and was confused. "Are those your actual ears?" I asked shocked. She nodded with a perplexed look on her face.

"Who is this Jinju?" Said a high pitched voice. I saw a tiny person with wings flying in front of my face. I was getting a headache trying to process what is happening. Just then more of them kept coming. I looked up in the tree and realise it was like a whole colony of them. All of them were talking to me at once.

"What's your name?" "Why aren't your ears pointed?" "Are you a rare creature?" "Are you Jinju's friend?".

I must be dreaming, right? This isn't real. No way it could be. The first fairy that talked to me came up and saw some of my scratches. She got some herbs and rubbed them on my scratches.

"This will help them" she said "I'm going to become a healer". I look at her and asked her name. The little fairy said "my name is Chiharu!"
