The arena was filled with screams and chanting, but the only thing I heard was my heavy breathing with every punch I threw. Throwing punches left and right and dodging just as fast.

This girl was good, but not as good as me. It was the 6th round and I was getting tired, both of us were bleeding and my eye was almost swelled shut from the punches.

She goes for a liver shot but misses as I block her shot and then I hit her with two left hooks to the face to back her up so I could let my punches go. Once her back hits the ropes I let it go, I hit her with everything I have, making every combination I could think of, making sure to block my right eye with my shoulder.

As I'm unloading my punches I see her face starting to bleed more and more. Then the bell rang and the ref pulls us apart sending us in our corners with our team.

"Look, Blake, this is a bad idea did you see your eye?!" My cutman said placing the enswell on the top of my right eye to try to stop the swelling.

"I hate to say it but Jerry's got a point kid," Carl yells over the loudness of the crowd.

"No, I'm fine! I can do this! She's going down!" The two men looked at each other and then Carl put my mouthpiece into my mouth.

I got up off my stool as the bell went off, I walk towards her in the middle of the Canvas (middle of the ring) and punched her right away. I kept hitting her until she was down. With the last punch I threw she was on the floor, the reef ran to her counting as I walked to my corner knowing she wasn't getting up.

My family hasn't been in one place for a long time.

6

They were here to see me fight all together for the first time.

5

My 3 brothers and my sister were here, Julie, Steven, Carter, and Joe.

4

Wait Joe. He waved at me and I didn't want to show any emotion just in case I was imagining things.

3

My brother Joe was on his second tour in Afghanistan.

He isn't here he can't be...

The crowd roars. She was still on the floor attempting to stand on her two feet. I was hugged by my team while Carl and Jerry put me on there shoulders. They turned towards my family and I still saw Joe in between both of my brothers. He was actually here.

"Guys put me down!" The two men put me on the canvas. As soon as my feet hit the floor I ducked under the rope and ran to my brother.

I ran and jumped in his arms wrapping my leg around his waist holding him tight like as if I were to let go, he would vanish and go back to Afghanistan.

"I'm here kid, I'm home." He whispered in my ear holding me tight. My brother and I have been inseparable ever since I was 3. We did everything together from playing sports to playing video games.

" I can't believe you're home!" I said happily. I still couldn't believe he was home, it was like a dream. His been gone for nine months, now he's home. I whispered in his ear with tears streaming from my eyes "Never ever leave again. "
