<< CHAPTER 1 >>

I take a deep breath as I stepped outside the taxi. Today is the day, my first day.

The cool breeze blew through my long brown hair, leaving goose bumps on my rather pale skin.
Today is the day that I start school at one of the most prestigious universities, here in the central of Seoul.
It was a long journey to get here, from working two jobs, studying for straight A's and academia scores had to be at the max. You could say I basically had no social life.

Throughout high school I had no friends due to my extreme up keep of studying and doing extra curriculum activities. The only time I had near free-time was after school club activities, that was the only time I could have fun, I lived and breathed dancing, I had done it every single time I chose a club activity, it was also the only time I lied to my father, he was very strict, a head-strong man who wanted to make sure I worked my butt off to go to an Ivy League School.

My mother was different, she was soft hearted like my father except she showed it more often, my father on the other hand did not, he wanted to keep a strict barrier between those feelings and "doing what was best for me"

You're probably wondering; "But Su Jin...if you worked your butt off to go to an Ivy League School then...why are you about to walk into Kamo University?" well...it's...it's a long story worth explaining for another time! Kaja! (let's go)

The beautiful flowers were blooming against the brick wall, the wall that separated the town and the university students, the wall that held the next 2 years of my education.

In front of the gates there were adults wearing blue and black intimidating uniforms, as I got closer I read a name tag of a younger adult "Secretary" so... this must be the staff greeting the new students.

Students were walking in and out of the university as staff greeted them with wide faces, as I got closer I was greeted by "Miss Kim Taek" , headmistress, she seems very intimidating but once she opens her mouth, she speaks with such delicateness and ease.

"Annyeonghaseyo, headmistress Miss Kim Taek imnida, you must be Su Jin, we have heard great things about you." ( Hello I am Headmistress , Miss Kim Taek.)
"Ahh, ne, kahmsamnida, I hope to fit in well here and succeed." *bows* ( Yes, thankyou)

The other staff were busy greeting other students so I decided to go towards the student administration block to find out where my dorm room is and to receive my timetable.

As I enter the strong smell of coffee hits my nose at an intensifying rate, making my stomach churn, I don't really have a thing for coffee...the smell of it makes me want to throw-up.

I head towards the front desk and greet the office lady.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I am a new student, Su Jin, I was wondering if I could have my dorm keys and timetable?" I say smiling.

She gives me a nod and heads to the back room labelled 'STAFF ONLY' I guess to get my things.

She comes back and sits on her chair, typing on her computer.

"Su Jin...aged 19, lives in Gangnam, OP score of 99.7, Is all of this information correct?"

I nod my head sending her a slight smile at the mention of my OP score...it wasn't that I was boasting but it was the thing that didn't allow me to go onto an IL school and which also got me kicked out of home by my father, much to my mother's dismay.

"Okay...here are your dorm keys, dorm '666', and your timetable, also a map of the campus, school doesn't officially start until the 28th of January so you have a week to get settled in and become familiar with our campus." She says sending me a smile.
