Summer Love

Chapter 1 - All Hell Breaks Loose

My life was turned completely upside down. 

Hey there, my name is Ellie Scott, I'm 17 years old and I live in Stuart, Florida. I live the average american teenage life, basically doing nothing. Life was all good for me, I played softball, basketball, and had great friends. Of course, like the average american, I go to the public school, South Side, with my close friend Cleo Parker. My other close friend is Clarabella Clifford, but everyone calls her Clara or Bella. Clara goes to catholic school. 

We have been friends since the 7th grade. We met on our softball team when we were all really bad but we were always having a ton of fun. Now, we are all 17 and it's the first day of summer. We decided we wanted to hangout, so Clarabella got us invited to a party. 

"Tonight is going to be so much fun!" Clarabella exclaimed. Clarabella is the oldest out of all of us since her birthday is April 1st, no joke. She's 5'3" with long, dirty blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. She's extremely pretty, and she also an amazing athlete and beautiful piano player. 

"I know! Thank you so much for inviting us Clara! It's going to be a great way to kick off summer vacation, especially after all those finals we had. Right Ellie?" Cleo said. Cleo is the youngest of all of us. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She has fair complexion and is only 5'1". She is also very pretty and a great athlete. Cleo even got Clarabella to teach her piano to her favorite band, One Direction. 

"Yeah Clara, this is going to be so much fun. I even heard that a bunch of South Side guys were going." I think it's time you learn about me. I'm the middle child. I have medium length dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. I'm not the prettiest one in our friend group, that's Clara. I have this huge crush on a boy named Parker Jackson. He's the hottest boy in the school. 

"You mean that Parker is going. Obviously that's all that you care about! With his blue eyes and blonde hair," Clara started, she was basically mocking me, "and his athlete body..."

"Alright Clara we get it! I like Parker and you can stop mocking me!" I yelled at her. Even though Clara goes to an all girl catholic school, Sacred Heart, she has had more boyfriend than a girl her age should. I hated that about her, it bothered me. She has all the boys after her and I can't even get 1 to look at me. 

We were in Clara's room trying to decide what to wear. We are all basically the same size so we always share clothes. Clara decided to wear an off the shoulder top with ripped jeans and and nice sandals. As always she look great. Cleo decided to wear white jean shorts with flats and a nice blue blouse. I decided to wear my usual outfit which consisted of running shorts, converse, and a softball t-shirt. 

We got to the party at about 10:15. It was being held at her best friend Caroline Hughe's house. Clarabella and Caroline are rich and both own really big and really nice houses. They also throw the best parties ever. 

"Hey guys!" Caroline exclaimed. "I'm so glad you guys got here early! Help me put the food and drinks out." Caroline's house was a large white mansion with a bright red door in the front. She has a large front yard that has a wrap around driveway to the front door. Her backyard is even bigger with a pool that is 9 feet deep and a hot tube to the side. She also has a basketball court and a bar with a mini fridge. 

As people started showing up at about 10:30 the party began. Of course it's supposed to be a pool party but everyone usually ends up at the bar drinking until they are drunk or in the basement playing ping pong and drinking the keg. 

"Hey Clara, Ellie, Cleo, and Caroline." Parker walked over and actually said hi, I think i literally died on the inside. He brought his friend Matthew, or Matt, Bell. He is also very hot with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.
