beep beep beep beep beep

A steady, headache inducing beeping sound chimes through out an echoing room. It's bright. I can't open my eyes but the white light against my eyelids are telling me there are plenty of lights on. It smells of disinfectants and chemicals.

I vaguely feel something warm and large around my left hand. What is it? I want to grab it but I- my hand won't move. What the hell? And my eyes, I can't open them. I can't move. I can't move.

beepbeepbeepbeepbeep

"Doctor!" A voice sounds on my left. It sounds familiar, but I can't connect a face to the voice. It sounds panicked.

Footsteps fill the room. They start to murmur. The thing in my hand is suddenly gone, leaving my hand cold. I miss the warmth. The doctors, I presume, are talking to whoever called for them. I don't understand the words they're saying so I don't bother trying to listen. I feel a prick in my arm. Ow. Something seeps into my arm, I don't like it.

The footsteps go away. My hand is being held once again. I like that.

"Hold on, baby. We're doing everything we can." The voice who called for the doctors said. I wonder who he is? He seems nice.

"I love you, Alyssa."

If I could smile, I'm certain I would. But I'm starting to feel heavy, and I can't stay conscious much longer. The beeping in the room slows slightly, and I'm out.

(A/n: I'm back, and better than ever.
Not really. But hey, the sequel to summer stars is finally here. So this chapter is horrendously short, but i did that on purpose. They will get longer, I assure you.

So yeah. Hope you enjoy. I love you guys.
