I sit down in Sikowitz's class, sitting near Beck and Tori. I am avoiding to be a "head-shaker" that never participates. Sikowitz walks in. "As some of you may have noticed, we have a new student today. Abby Carter." He points to me, and I blush and smile. "Alright! We have a new project to do, and every person gets a partner, and they reenact the scene I give them." Sikowitz says, taking out a list of who's assigned to who.
"Tori and Cat, Andre and Jade, Abby and Robbie, and finally, Beck, you work with Leah." Sikowitz announces, passing us our scripts. My stomach flutters. I get to work with Robbie! Leah is one of the head-shakers, as I've quickly gathered. Sikowitz explains the project to the rest of the class, and the bell rings. "Hey, Abby!" Robbie says, as I gather up my books. "Yeah?" I ask, glancing up at him. Rex interrupts, "Sup, you wanna be a part of my Nothridge Team?" I ignore Rex.
Robbie sighs. "You wanna work on the scene at my house?" He asks, hitching his backpack on his shoulders. "Sure, see you then!" I say, and hold the door for him.
