There is a time and place for everything but when it comes to facing who you are may be to surprising.
During the night Goken is filling his backpack full of clothes and his phone, meanwhile Minz is doing the same thing as Goken. When they both are done Minz and Goken meet in the middle of the hallway.
"Are you ready Goken?" Minz asks
"Yeah did you get the food we need?" Goken asks as well
"Yeah I got some gronola bars and leftovers from the fridge" Minz replies
"Good now let's get mom and dad believe to we're going to bed and we'll sneak out my window." Goken whispers
"Okay, but don't call them mom and dad." Minz whispers back
Both Goken and Minz walk downstairs to say goodnight to their so-called 'parents'. Both parents are on the couch watching TV, Minz and Goken walk downstairs to say goodnight.
"Goodnight." Minz says
"Goodnight to you to." Their mother replies
Both siblings walk back up to Goken's room to sneak out.
"Alright you first." Goken says to Minz
"Okay." Minz climbs out of the window and lands on the dirt.
"Alright, now you jump!" She whisper shouts back to him
"Right!" Goken whisper shouts back to Minz as climbs out
As soon as Goken climbs out of the window both siblings nod and start to head out but that's when someone behind them speaks.
"Am I interrupting something?" A voice says from behind them
Both Goken and Minz look behind them to find their friend Tatsu watching them climb out the window.
"Tatsu?" Minz confirms
"What are you doing here?" Goken asks
"I came to see if you two were alright." Tatsu responds
"So you're not freaked out that we're 'freaks of nature'?" Goken asks
"Not really, it's almost like our favorite TV show when we were little!" Tatsu replies calmly
"Thanks dude." Goken thanks
Tatsu and Goken bump fists and smile
"I hate to break up the 'Bro-Mance' you both have got goin on, but Goken and I need to go." Minz says interrupting
"Oh right." Goken says
"Wait what do you mean" Tatsu asks
"Oh, Minz and I are...running away" Goken struggles to tell his best friend
"What? why!?!" Tatsu asks drastically
"It turns out we're aliens from some planet that neither of us know about, and our 'parents' found us in two space pods in the middle of the forest when we were babies" Minz explains
"Wow...." Tatsu says under his breath
"But then I'll never see you guys again!" Tatsu crys
"I know I don't like it either but we can't live knowing that we're some sort of extraterrestrial." Goken explains
