Scarlet Waters:

She was walking back home, dizzy and her heart was racing. Her head was pounding. She touched the area where fangs pierced through her skin, only to find out she had no holes, nothing. It was like nothing ever pierced through her skin and drank her blood. She was scared, nervous, and felt the need to cry. With shaky breaths, she turned the corner and walked towards her home. The tears were filling her eyes. Goosebumps formed her skin as soon as she reached her home, where she would seek for help. She walked into her home and was immediately welcomed by her family. As soon as her mom brought her into a hug she collapsed, sobbing uncontrollably. Her mom looked at her with worried eyes.

"I thought they weren't real." She sobbed. Her mom had such a worried look in her eyes she looked as if she were going to cry as well.

"What do you mean by 'they'?" Her mom spoke with a shaky voice. She looked at her in the eyes and saw her father behind her with a worried expression.

"Vampires." She whispered. Her mom looked at her as if she were insane. Her father held a pale expression on his face, like if his heart had stopped at the mention of vampires. And all of a sudden, people crashed in through the door. They took her mom and dad by the arms and hair. Everything was a blur. Her mom was shrieking. She tried getting up to help them but as soon as she stood she received an impact that sent her flying. She slammed into her moms favorite bookshelf that held glass ornaments. Every glass ornament came down and shattered against her body. One of the ornaments shattered against her head. She felt something oozing out from her head, she touched the back of her head and looked at her hand to find blood. And just like that, she was out. She tried so hard to stay awake but it was impossible, everything was going pitch black. As her body was shutting down, she noticed one thing: the voices of her parents were silenced...

Scarlet woke up panting and sweating. She sat up in her bed and looked around. She was home, in her bed. Her heart was racing. She had the same exact nightmare for three weeks straight, but never mentioned it. She always shook the dream off, after all vampires aren't real.

"Vampires aren't real." She said to herself, and laid back down, closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.
