Reader POV:

Today is Christmas eve and my parents are having a Christmas party. The house is packed with people and I just wanted to stay in my room because honestly, the people in the house drive me crazy. 

I was walking around trying to reach the kitchen to get a soda and the I bump in to my crush, Shawn.

I panic and then run to my mom. "MOM YOU INVITED SHAWN!?!?" "Why yes I did because he needed me to" she said to me calmly. "Wait he wanted you too?" I asked confused. "Yeah he had a Christmas present for you."  I gave her a confused look and walked off.

Shawn POV:

'Well that was a very awkward situation. I just hope (Y/N) didn't find out. That would be worse. ' I thought to my self. I kept checking my phone clock making sure it wasn't 11:55. I had a surprise for her at that time. I hope she doesn't reject.

Reader POV

Its almost 12:00.  Finally all these people will be out of here. It was 11:55 and my mom came to me. "(Y/N) come with me for a minute." "ok?" I replied confused once again. I was lead to the hallway corridor and there stood Shawn.  "Shawn what's going on?" I asked him. " (Y/N) just listen." He said grabbing my hands." Every time I look at you, its like a beam of light shining. I know the rest will sound cheesy but this is coming from me. You are the flashlight in a dark room. You are my sun for earth. God there more things to describe you but its way to many. All I'm saying is..." I already knew what he was going to say. "I love you (Y/N). You are my every thing and I want you to be mine." I teared up and then said "Yes Shawn Yes!!" Then I hugged him and looked at my mom. 'look up' she mouthed and I did and saw a ... mistletoe! Shawn knew I saw it and looked at me. He then pressed his lips against mine and pulled away. " I wanted to always do that." He said smiling. "Well then shut up and do it again!" He laughed then pressed his lips against mine again.

"Merry Christmas Shawn" I whispered to him "Merry Christmas (Y/N). I love you" he replied

"I love you too"

Awwwwwwww! This was a cute one that I wrote. I wrote it yesterday and fixed it today. While I was writing it a was playing "Kid in Love" by Shawn Mendes on repeat. It went perfect with this story. Well I'm  gonna get some rest cuz I was up all night watching orange is the new black. See ya later
