Dear Mercedes
I am writing to tell you that my grandma had died on the day of your birthday.so am really sorry for not not buying you a gift. My grandma died from cancer, we didn’t know she had it until today. She just passed out on us just like that. It is really painful for me.so whenever I get the time I will your present. Hope you understand the pain that am feeling.
Few weeks later mercedes sends back a letter and said “Just because your grandma died you never buy my gift. If it was your birthday I would have brought your present and have it there for you. What kind of friend are you?. And by the way I don’t want any present from you again. And I understand the pain that you are feeling because it’s not my grandmother”
When I had finish reading the letter, I cried because I was feeling really bad. I didn’t know what to do. She told me wasn’t to buy her any presents again. But my grandmother was more important. So i didn't really take i on.
I love my best friend but she could have understood the pain that I was feeling, because I was always there for her. I know I wasn't the best friend she had ever had. I just hope she opens her eyes I see what is going through.
Week weeks later Mercedes said “Macy is really sorry, never know I was being so to you. Am so so sorry your grandmother died, I mean out grandmother. The gift doesn’t matters again once I have best friend
