Your mind spun as you sought to look for a way out of this mess. Your brain quickly landed on one solution and you hoped it would work. You swiftly lifted your knee up and brought them in between his legs roughly, causing a painful growl to emanate from his mouth. He ripped his fangs from your bloodied shoulder and brought his hands down to his now tender crotch, glaring at you.
You were panting weakly as your body swayed and you lids drooped. Overcome with exhaustion you blacked out, but not before seeing a certain red haired vampire leap towards your falling body.

Why? You asked yourself. Why would Ayato run for you even though you had hurt him in his most precious of places? You were confused yet flattered. The situation utterly confused you as it brought up conflicted emotions.
It was still dark as you groaned and lifted your heavy lids. You turned your head from side to side to look at your surroundings only to find that no one was there. "Thank God." You whispered, relieved that Ayato wasn't there. You didn't know how to face him after that awful incident.
"There is no God Y/N-chan. You should know that by now."
Your eyes snapped open, no longer feeling the heaviness of them as you were too surprised. "A-Ayato..." You lifted the upper half of your body and rested the weight on your elbows, looking at the handsome vampire.
He looked back at you, his eyes never wavering from yours as you parted your lips slightly, ready to apologize. ".....Ay-...." You closed your mouth almost instantly as you remembered that he had started it, not you. He's the one that bit you. You were suddenly glaring at the young vampire in front of you, keeping you L/C lips closed firmly.
He crossed his arms and smirked. "What? I can't quite hear you Y/N-chan. Spit it out." You knew he was expecting an apology and probably even more, but you weren't giving it to him. Not now. Not ever.
