C h a p t e r 45

'Well I'm a bit stressed and I'm tired. I guess everyone's feeling like that during the holidays, a lot of stuff is happening around this time.' I said giving a little smile. She smiled sadly at me and nodded before we hurried into the mall. It was snowing outside and it was really cold so we didn't bare to stay outside in the cold for much more time. First we went into some clothing stores so Andi could find something for her sisters, I bought some for mine to before we went into the toy store to buy presents for all the children. We were in the store for nearly an hour and had multiple bags each full of presents, plus the full bags from the clothing store. By now I was almost finished with mine, I had Danny and the lads plus my parents left. Danny had already gotten presents for his family the last time he was home and it's from the both of us so I didn't really have to think about it, but I still decided to get them something. Andi took a cart from the mall to borrow as we both placed the bags in the cart and she took it to her car so we didn't have to carry it. In the meantime I walked around the mall to find something for Danny's family too. For Ailish I got a cup and some candles to decorate with. I also got her a big wooly scarf as it was really cold outside and she probably needed one to stay warm. Along with that I got a fury blanket for her too that went great with her dark couch in the living room at her house. While I was in the store I bought a wooly blanket for my mom to so I could check that off my list too. For Danny's siblings I got some basic photo frames and some different photo albums. It's kind of a standard present but at least now they could fill it with their favorite memories and keep it. For Andi, Vicky and Mandy, Danny had already gotten them some decorating pillows and books and DVDs along with perfumes and some creams I recommended he should buy so I went into a store and bought different bedsheets for them as an extra present from me. I hadn't really met Danny's brothers yet but it would be rude to give presents to everyone there except for them so I got them each a box of series and a few DVDs for them and their families. By the time Andi came back from emptying the cart I already had 3, almost 4 bags of presents in my hands. We decided to keep the cart and place the presents in it while Andi got some more as well. We walked in and out of nearly 10 stores and we had both almost finished our presents for this year. I needed to get something for the lads and Danny now. Andi only had to get some presents for her husband so we decided to place the stuff we bought not in her car and go inside and have some dinner before hitting the stores again for the last presents.

'So Danny told me about everything...' Andi said as we had sat down at a table in a restaurant.

'Everything?' I asked puzzled. Did she really mean everything, like the reason why as well or was it just the talks we've had?

'Well almost, just your conversations. When it comes to why he did what he did I'm still as clueless as you are.'

'Oh okay. Well I will hopefully get to know the answers soon or something. It's not long until he's back home and I figure we'll talk it out then. At least I hope.'

'I'm sure you will. He's really gutted about all this you know, he really loves you, and I can see why. You're really good to him and if he continues this he's gonna lose you and I don't wanna see that happen.'

'Thank you. I really hope we can move past this and get stronger, I really hope that. As for now it's not looking good. We had that big argument as you probably know about, and after that we haven't spoken. Well only because I really don't feel like it. I don't really know if he wants to speak to me at the moment, but I just don't feel like talking to him so I guess he just has to deal with it, he's a big part of this problem. Not to blame him or anything, but it's kinda true.'

'I get that, I really do. Honestly, I couldn't stand being with someone if they acted like that. Of course I love my brother to bits, he's amazing with everyone and really cares about people, but the way he's dealing with this is just shit. You really don't deserve this and he better have a good reason for the way he's acting.'
