Dracos P.O.V.

There they were. ASHLEN shagging WEASLE against a BLOODY TREE!!!. Focous Draco. I reminded myself, I was here to confront them them not judge their choice of surroundings. I was about to step out from behind the bush I was hiding behind when I heard a sharp gasp to my left I whipped around just in time to see a wisp of brown hair disappear as someone ran from the garden."Hermione". My breathe created a plum of white in the winter air. Without a second thought I ran out from behind the bush and after my worst enemy, Hermione granger.

I found her sitting on the back steps of the orchard. Her brown hair, which had come out of its elegant bun was now straggling around her shoulders. Her green ball gown  was caked with mud and leaves and was missing a sleeve, yet in this condition she still managed to take my breath away. Hesitantly I stepped into the dull light that the lantern on the wall provided." Not looking too good granger". My voice was uneven and cracked but I tried to steady it. She turned stiffly toward me and then her glassy brown eyes watered. Tears leaked out of her eyes. I sat next to her." I'm sorry he did that to you Hermione". She turned toward me. I wrapped my arms around her. I hadn't even thought about doing it and I would have expected for her to pull away or hex me but instead she wrapped her slender arms around my shoulders." It's not your fault Draco". She mumbled into my shoulder. The sound of my name made my cheeks flush. I turned to look at her. She was staring at me intently like she was looking for something, the she looked down her cheeks turned a darker shade of red. I tilted her chin up and kissed her. I had kissed many girls before and I had felt many different things but this was something I couldn't explain. Her delicate fingers played through my hair and I tightened my grip on her. I pulled away. Her pupils were blown wide. I don't remember much after. I remember weasels angry gaze on us. I remember kissing her on the dance floor and hearing the satisfying sound of weasels champagne glass shattering. Most of all I remember the last dance." Mabye ferrets aren't so bad". She had whispered. I had sighed and asked if anybody would ever let that go. She just giggled and shook her head no. Everything was perfect
