Chapter Twelve: Relief

Daves POV

John had just taken your shades off and saw your red scarlet eyes. You were shocked, you'll admit that. But you did your best not to show it. You asked if he'd leave you. He shook his head no. He asked if this was the reason you wore shades. You nodded. You were worried he would have hated you like everyone else when he saw your eyes. But he doesn't. That made you so happy. So you hugged him. You wrap your arms around his neck and pull him into a hug. At first he doesn't hug back, and you get worried. But eventually he slowly brings his arms to the top of your back. After a long while Dave pulls away from the hug. He looks at John straight in the eyes. Then you lean down and kiss him..
