Hello there I'm Alyssa from Wolfy Wattpad Weekly Magazine and I'm here with Abby a.k.a. @Katnisslerman16. How are you today Abby?
Abby: I'm very well, and you?
Very exstaic, thank you. Today I'd like to talk to you about your book 'My Arrogant Overprotective Mate'. How did you get the idea/inspiration to write this book?
Abby: Before I sat down and wrote the first chapter, I was relatively new to writing. I had written some short stories. But, noting too major. I was reading a lot of romance on Wattpad at the time (I'm a sucker for cliches) and one day I watched a documentary on wolves. I guess because the two were so fresh in my mind, it just occured to me to write them together! So, I took to writing my first werewolf story. The actual plot for Haven and Logan's story pretty much developed as I wrote it.
Before I ask the nest question I'd just like to say that personally I loved it. Haha anyways, for those who haven't read 'My Arrogant Overprotective Mate' please give a summary about it.
Abby: My story is about a young girl named Haven, who is forced to move across the country to livve with her Aunt. The move was all because she turned into a wolf on her 16th birthda which sort've sent her unsuspecting parents into a mental state. Thinking she's alone, Haven is surprised to find out that she is very far from it. An entire pack reside's in her Aunt's town, and that pack her mate. The Alpha. Haven must learn to handle her arrogant, protective, and at times overbearing mate along with balancing her growing feelings for the pack's peacemaker, Jude. As if teenage hormones weren't enough to deal with, Haven finds herself in a world of trouble when a mysterious pack, and even shadier Alpha want her for a reason she doesn't know, they're willing to spill blood on the way.
What would you tell your fans that are currently writing stories? Or just story writers that will stumble upon this article?
Abby: I'd tell them not to give up on what they're working on. To find a main character you connect with, one that can guide you through the plot, and hold on to them. As long as you have the character, you should never have a problem writing. They'll tell the story if you let them.
So inspirational! So now that we're done with the big questions I'd like to ask you some smaller question that are floating around Wattpads forums. What are your views on bullying?
Abby: Bullying is one thing I do not stand for, or tolerate at all. I know ending bullying is unlikely, because there will always be conflict. That's why I feel it's important to stand up for people when given the chance. Bystanders are just as bad as the bully!
What is your favorite Wattpad Book? Favorite book in stores?
Abby: I really like The Dark Knight, it's one I've been following for a while! As a favourite story overall, that's a something I can't say, too many to name! Right now I'm working throught A Game of Thrones so I'd have to say that!
Who's your favorite Wattpad author?
Abby: I don't really have one to be honest. I follow a lot of people so it'd hard to choose!
What's your favourite T.V. show?
Abby: At the moment, Supernatural!
Who's your favorite YouTuber?
Abby: Bertie Gilbert!
Awesome, so before we have to go I must say it's been an honor getting to interview on of my favorite Wattpad Authors! Would you like to say anything about your books, other books, your fans, or other authors?
Abby: Thank you! To my fans, thank you for reading, and for your continual support and everlasting patience with my late uploads! Without you all I wouldn't have achieved the success I have on Wattpad! Thank you!
