Chapter 19

Ross's POV
Poor little girl. She is thirteen and has already given up on people. I wanna help but I'm not sure how. Maybe the trip to Mom and Dad's house will work in our favor. I can't wait. It's been awhile since we've seen them. Wait did we ever tell mom and dad we adopted? I don't think so. We probably should before it's too late.
"Rydel! Riker! Did we ever tell mom and dad we adopted?" I said to my siblings who were in the room with me. Natalie told us all to leave so she could go to bed.
"Oh crap. We never did. I'll be right back guys," Riker said leaving the room tapping away on his phone.
"OH MY GOD!! I have to take Natalie shopping. She needs a holiday outfit and just a lot of other things in general! I'm going to set an alarm for 6 because we need to get up and shopping right away tomorrow. Also I need to have her get Christmas presents, and you guys need to get her Christmas presents. Okay never mind. I'm just going to make a list," Rydel said while listing things off on her fingers. Then she gave Ellington a quick peck on the cheek and walked out of the room mumbling to herself.
"Well that was interesting," Ryland said.
"If that's what you wanna call it," I said.
"Wait! What's that noise?" Ellington exclaimed, while scrambling to get to his feet. We all got quiet and listened. It sounds like someone singing. But I have no idea who.
We walked up the stairs and followed our ears which took us to the bathroom that is connected to Natalie's room. She is so good and this song is catchy it went:

OMG! Natalie is like so good. And I just sounded like Rydel. As much as I love her, she is rubbing off on me and that's not a good thing. But we need to leave before she comes out and catches us.
"GUYS!" I whisper hissed, "We need to go now come on," I told them running out of the room. We are like stealthy ninjas. As much as we refer to leave I wish we didn't because I can hear her singing again,
"SO HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE
I MUST HAVE CALLED A THOUSANDS TIMES
TO TELL YOU I'M SORRY FOR EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE DONE
BUT WHEN I CALL YOU NEVER SEEM TO BE HOME"

I'm speechless. Natalie is so good. I wish we knew sooner she could sing like that.
Rocky's POV
Who would have thought that Natalie could sing? She hit those high notes in Hello and the lower notes in Hide Away. Which now I have that song stuck in my head. Looking high and low someone let me know...
Moving on I still can't believe.
"Who would have thought that the small little girl we adopted would have been able to have so much talent?" I spoke out loud.
"Well, I wish we had known way sooner," Ellington said. I think he feels close with Natalie, it's hard to explain, but I just get the feeling that those two have a connection.
"I feel the same way. But now that we know we will have to confront her about it somehow. I'm just not sure how to do I though," Ryland said.
"I say that we should tell Rydel and Riker about it. Then we can figure it out. She has talent, we should let people see her talent. I'm just not sure how to do it," Ross said.
"Alright we will do it tomorrow. We have a lot to do tomorrow and it's Christmas Eve as well tomorrow so we need to go sleep now," I told them. And we all went our separate ways to bed.
{THE NEXT DAY}
Natalie's POV
Rydel woke me up WAY too early. It's 7:30 a.m. and I'm being dragged to the mall. This isn't supposed to happen. We are going shopping. Apparently we haven't gotten to "properly" go clothes shopping. So Rydel and I are doing that. Also while we are out I have to get Christmas presents for everyone including the grandparents I haven't met. AND I have to get an outfit for Christmas. This shall be interesting.
{SKIP TO THE MALL}
So we are at Kohls right now in the juniors department. I have had just about every piece of clothing that is
"SOOO YOUR STYLE" and "THAT WOULD LOOK TOTES ADORBS ON YOU" thrown at me to try on. Well it will be interesting to see what we come out with here.
"Natalie snap out of it," Rydel suddenly said clapping her hand in front of my face.
"Wait what?"
"I asked you if you needed bras," Rydel replied very slowly as if I were special needs. This is awkward, well sort of. It would have been worse if we had one of the guys with us.
"Um... Yeah I guess," I replied shyly.
"Hey girly, it's okay. I'm a girl too I understand no need to be embarrassed. And trust me you should be lucky we didn't take any of the guys with us. The only ones that would have been mature about this are Riker and Ellington. The others seriously need to grow up," Rydel said while giving me a side hug. We would have done a really hug, but I was carrying too much. Whew! We got so much from Kohls, that we don't need to go many other places. I got a super cute dress from Kohls and a black heart necklace to match. We are going to the Converse store next to get some Converse shoes and then a shoe store called Shoe Carnival to get some tennis shoes, flats, heels, sandals, and any other type of shoe. Rydel also said that she would pick up presents for me to give to the boys at the checkout line. We are both just going to give them iTunes gift cards. I am giving Rydel a gift card to Rue 21 though because that place is awesome. I got a lot of Converse, but the best thing is that I got high-top Converse the color of my dress, and Rydel said I don't have to wear heels so score! Ugh, I'm so exhausted. I honestly just want to go home and sleep. But I can't do that. I have to get ready to go to my grandparents house. This shall be interesting. I have to go home and shower and get changed. Then Rydel decided that she was going to do my hair in this awesome way that she learned. Alright well I should get going.

Hey guys! Happy Holidays! Sorry I didn't update sooner like I really am sorry. So this chapter took place from yesterday and today. I will post one tomorrow about the visit to Mark and Stormie's house. If you guys ever have any ideas please let me know. P. S. I will be posting a hair style in Natalie's actual hair color for those who are interested.
