They all turned to me, "now go ahead start"

I started explaining to them why I've been hanging out with Matthew, the park, Burger King, and maths

When I finished my non-detailed explanation, They nodded in an understanding matter, before giving me sorrowful looks which looked mishevuous

"What?" I said breaking the awkward tension, my heart was beating erratically

"That boys nicer then I thought" Juliana commented in a slight whisper

"do you like him?" Tracy suddenly asked

My eyes widened slightly taking in all her words, I shook my head vigoursly

But I never thought about that question before, did I like him?

The answer would always be no

"Look dani why didn't you tell us about this before?" Gabrielle asked

Realizing that I had no excuse and the truth would be okay, I said it

"Ven" I muttered lowly

"What about ven?" Tracy asked still looking through her phone

I rolled my eyes mentally, "well you guys know that ven likes Matthew right?"

"WHAT VEN LIKES MATTHEW?" They yelled in unison

I was surprised they didn't know, I mean best friends are supposed to know everything and anything about each other, I guess we still keep secrets from each other

"Yeah uh s-he d-oes" I stuttered awkwardly

"So what does that have to do with Matthew?" Juliana asked her hazel eyes lit with confusion

"If you hadn't noticed Matthew has been trying to hit on ven, and I mean he's a damn player for crying out loud" I exclaimed throwing my hands into the air

They stood there gaping at me, finally they understand

But at least that's what I thought

"And?" They asked completely dumbfounded

"Well he might just want her in his bed and then lure her into his many traps and then break her heart!" I cried

"Dani have you ever thought about the fact that Matthew could possibly like ven and he's just using his playboy ways to get her?" Gabrielle explained in a logic manner

"Maybe he's trying to get you to back off, I mean you have been slightly protective over ven" Juliana said

I sighed, my mom Juliana Gabrielle they are right

I just the thought about the negative outcomes, I'm do optimistic

"You know dani, maybe you should back off, ven needs to experience her own love problems one day if it's a mistake then she'll learn from it, after all mistakes grow your mind don't they dani?" Juliana explained

I smiled "thanks a lot guys, thanks for understanding" i whispered as I engulfed them into a hug

"Great any other secrets you wanna share?" Gabrielle said in a serious tone
