"I- I'm okay, can you please inform the president that I'll have to leave but, I'll return if not tomorrow, the day after. There seemed to be a problem at home. I'll have to leave immediately." I turned around and didn't even wait for his response.

"Do you need someone to come with you?" when he said "someone" I can imagine Otoya-kun pointing at himself. Kidding aside, he looked really worried and I was touched by it.

"No need, I can manage by myself." I smiled weakly at him before turning around again, "Thanks for the concern though, I really appreciate it." I continued my path back to my room.

In no time, I was able to pack my clothes. A knock on the door came as I was double checking my bag.

"Kagami, are you done packing? I'll help you with your bags at least..." Otoya-kun peeked through my bedroom door. He looked nervous for some reason.

"You're too kind Otoya-kun, do you even know that?" I placed my right hand on my hips as I turn around to look at him.

"I just hope that my kindness lives up to your expectations..." he grinned as he started picking up some of my bags.

Otoya-kun accompanied me until we reached the bus station and waited with me until my ride arrived. We were together the whole time but, we didn't talk much. He may be having a hard time thinking of what to talk about since I was pretty much down in the dumps. What I can't deny was the fact that having him beside me was able to calm me enough to think about various things. He didn't look at me, he was looking the other way observing the leaves falling from the trees that we pass by. I did the same. It didn't feel awkward though...

A black Chrysler 300 pulled in front of me after some time.

I looked back at Otoya-kun who shifted some of my luggage towards the car.

"Don't worry Kagami, everything will be fine." He smiled at me with all the assurance he had in him. I'm glad that we were friends. It was then that I realized that he was the only one among the STARISH members who made an effort to be my friend.

I took his hands in mine without looking straight at him, "I'm glad we're friends Otoya-kun. You're one of the few people outside of my family who cared for me. Maybe it's because we're both orphans..." I tried making the conversation light but, it turned out different from what I was aiming for. I knew it, I'm not good with socializing with others.

I felt that the hand that I was holding squeezed my hands back. I looked at them and I saw how small mine was compared to his, "It's not that. I just honestly thought that we would get along well." It was almost a whisper but, I heard it clearly.

I left Otoya-kun there standing, as I entered the car. Father's driver was the one that picked me up. The travel back home took four and a half hour, and it obviously rubbed away my patience. I was stressed the whole time. I was not able to relax no matter how hard I tried. I even interrogated the driver on what the letter was about but, he swore that he doesn't know what was happening. All he was asked to do was bring me to father as soon as possible.

The car was not in full stop when I jumped out of my seat, almost tripping myself as I scurried towards the front door of our house

"Welcome back my Lady..." a heard a prim greeting by the staircase. I turned around enough to see who it was.

"David?" The young man who greeted me was sporting his obviously new tail coat.

"Oh, I see. You're the head butler now David."

"Yes, my Lady. As a tradition, now that I am 23 years old, I have taken the role of the Kagami family's head butler. Since 1865, our family has served and obeyed – "
