Why Do You Hate Me? Chapter Two

You and everyone else sat in the back, your friends and Arthur stared at your lying form on the stretcher before someone finally broke the silence.

"This.... Is all my fault. If only I hadn't bullied her.... If only it could've been me instead of her.. I bet she would've been happier if I had died-" Arthur was interrupted.

"Don't you ever speak about her like that! Even though you were her bully, she would've wished the best for you. You know why? Because she wouldn't want to become like you and because she wasn't the person to wish death upon someone!" Yao glared at Arthur before continuing,"You were wrong about everything except for one thing: that it was your fault! It's only natural for someone to want to kill themselves' after having to deal with all the bullsh** that ______ had to deal with because of you!"

By then, Arthur was in tears as he said,"I just want to die..... Wait, no, I don't just want to die, I want to die a even more suffering death than ______, whether she lives or dies, because then nobody would ever have to deal with me and it will make everyone happy because of the point that I got what I deserved...."

Arthur looked back to you and grabbed the hand of your body as he whispered,"I am so sorry, ______, if only I could take all that pain that I gave you back....."

Everyone stared at Arthur with sympathy; he, too, felt the same way they all did: pain, depression, and anger for themselves....

The rest of the ride went on in silence as you looked at each of their faces, tears rolling down their cheeks, the smiles they had once fully wiped away, and this was all because you were..... Gone.

Arthur seemed to be the worst of them all, he seemed like he was gone, too, yet, he was still here with everyone. This made you wonder why he seemed to act different from all the others.

For what seemed like a long and painful journey for everyone, including you, the ambulance finally made it to the hospital.

The doctors and nurses removed your body from the ambulance while your friends followed them inside.

You were blinded by the light of the hospital, everything light-colored and depressing.

The doctors told every one of your friends that they need to stay in the waiting room until they fix your wounds and broken bones.

You took one last look at your friends and Arthur before you followed the doctors and nurses into the surgery room .  They put a needle into you that sucked some of your blood out, which you assumed they did to test your blood type. You watched as they then began to pick out all the glass and stitch up the cuts. They bandaged each of your wounds with care before starting to fix your bones. The only sounds visible to your ears were the mumbles of the surgeons, the beeping of the machinery, and the popping of your bones as they put them back into place.

It was all so unsettling to watch, but what made it even more unsettling was that you were watching your own body get surgery done as everyone tried to better your chance to live.

After what seemed like hours, the now satisfied and exhausted surgeons brought your body to a room and laid you down on a bed.

After they got you situated, they had someone come in with even more machinery and a pack of blood.

They attached the machines to your and stuck a needle into your arm that was attached to a pack of blood.

You watched the blood started to flow down the tube before going down the needle and into your arm.

The doctors checked everything to make sure that the were working and the needles were securely in place.

Once everything was checked and fixed, you followed the doctors out to the waiting room where your friends and Arthur waited.
