I ran through the crowd of people away from terry. If Finn weren't holding my hand i'd probably be terrified, but he's right here, so I'm not. I pass by the girls and I see Santana smirking and Quinn's face of amusement. I roll my eyes, because I already know what they're going to say.

I'm so scared of what terry will do, but I need to be alone with Finn. So I run all the way to one of the rooms, where Terry can't disturb us.

"Mind telling me what that was about?" Finn says out of breath
"Terry doesn't believe in marrying for love, but I do, and I really like you Finn" I smile holding his hand
"I like you too, Rachel, I've liked you for as long as I can remember" Finn smiled
"But Terry is dangerous and she would never allow this, I don't want you to get hurt" I say worried

Finn stand back up and faces me. He puts a hand on my face.

"She won't hurt me" he assured

I held his hands, and looked into his beautiful hazel eyes

"How do you know that?" I ask worried

He stayed quiet knowing I was right. We stood there staring into each other's eyes when the clock stroke twelve.

"You should take the test"I say thinking of the rules

That's how my mother became queen. She passed the royalty test. She was eligible for queen, maybe Finn is too! If not, we could always run away.

"No, no way, I'm not ready Rachel, I can't be king, I can barely be me" Finn panics
"Yes you can, I know you can, you have the good kind heart, and leader ship skills that this town needs" I assure

I hold his face with my hand

"I believe in you" I smile

He smiles back and kisses me, I kiss back with all my passion. The door opens and we pull away. It's Terry and my father.

"What! Exactly do you think you're doing!???" Terry yells

I hold Finns hand

"I nominate Finn for the royalty test" I say confident
"Rachel, are you sure?" My dad asks
"Don't encourage her will! She has plenty of eligible suitors downstairs" Terry says

I look at my dad begging him to let us do this

"Tomorrow we begin, five am sharp" my dad says walking out with Terry

I hug Finn glad that he accepted The test proposal. He hugged me back but I could feel how nervous he is.

"Hey, everything's going to be fine" I assure

The next day

"The first test of the day is, balance"

One of the guards said

I was so nervous for Finn. All the royalty had to be present, then the council decides whether one is eligible. So Quinn, Britney, and Santana are here for support.

"He'll be fine, this is one of the easiest tests" Quinn assured

We were all sitting in a row as people observed Finn. I wanted to help him but they're against the rules. The only people that are allowed to be there is my father and Terry. I already know she's going to love this, and not in a good way.

We watched as Finn walked with books on top of his head. I remember when I did that, I was fourteen, and Finn was there, helping me through it. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. You only get one chance, so everything has to be good the first try.

No one POV

Finn begin walking and was doing pretty well. Will took notes as Rachel and Santana stood at the edge of their seats. All the servants has the day off, so they were watching as well. But no one realized Terry put her foot in front of Finn causing him to tumble, when all he needed was twelve more steps.

Rachel POV
He was so close, but this is just the first test, he still has a lot more to go.

"Next test is social skills" the guard announced

Everyone got up and followed. I walked behind Finn as we headed into town. We got off and I stopped Finn.

"You got this" I told Finn

Then I kissed him, I saw him turn red, so I turned red.

"Let's go" a guard said pushing Finn

This was people skills. Which I guarantee Finn has. So far he's helped an old woman cross the road, played with a little boy and his rubber ball, and now all he needs is to help the woman and her child.

No one POV

Everything was going good so far. Finn had helped a lot of people and proved he could be a social king. Now his future was determined by this woman and child. Everyone watched as Finn helped her knit. What no one saw was Terry pushing the kid to the ground making it seem like it was Finn. Finn helped the boy only to have the mother push him away.

Rachel POV
Why does this keep happening? He's almost passing but it's little things that keep messing him up. At least he helped the little boy back up?

"Next test is proper etiquette" the guard said

We got back in the carriage and ,went back to the palace. I still have hope for Finn. Only a couple more tests to determine his fate. I hope he passes. Quinn and Britney hold my hand in comfort when we arrive.

For this knew all Finn has to do is now the proper tools to use for lunch or dinner. In this case, lunch.

No one POV
Finn was demonstrating his proper use of utensils very well. Will was impressed as was everyone else. He succeeded every entrée and all he needs is desert. Terry was growing impatient so she kicked the table and tripped the busboy, which cause the ice cream to go all over Finn and had everyone else's fall.

One of the councils was here during the whole test and shook his head as he wrote down stuff.

"Next test is....."

We heard for the rest of the day. Each time Finn was so close to passing. Then something messed him up. But I have a feeling it's a someone. There's one more test, and Finn has to pass this one. If not we could possibly never see each other again.

"Final test is ballroom dancing, with........the queen"

Thats it, were toast. She going to make sure we fail and never see each other, because that's just who she is, an awful person.

No one POV
Terry saw this as her final act to mess it all up. But she couldn't make it look like it was her fault, she had to do it right. Finn want that good of a dancer anyway, so he made it easier. So, when Finn twirled her she made sure to accidentally bump into one of the council members, and she succeeded.

Rachel POV
We were all done and now it is time to determine if Finn is eligible. The people who decided is the council, my father and Terry are suppose to help our cause. So now it's just Finn and I waiting outside holding hands. I'm so nervous, I can tell din is because I feel his hand trembling.

"Rachel whatever happens, just know that I love you" Finn said
"I love you too" I rely nervous

We share a quick passionate kiss as the doors open up. My father steps out with a blank expression, and Terry has this smug look.

"Rachel, Finn isn't eligible," my dad said sad

I almost started crying. But I held Finns hand

"Then we'll prepare for the next test" I said

We'd have to wait a year to be able to enter Finn again, but it's worth the wait.

"Thats not all Rachel," my dad said stepping forward, I looked at him confused "Rachel, Finn is going to be moved to the Lima heights kingdom, the council doesn't want him here" my dad explained

Now I started to cry. I turned to Finn and hugged him. He hugged back just as tight. I heard my father and Terry's  footsteps walk away.
