The demons in the dark of the night
Slowly seep in and control with all might
Forcing out anger, depression, and fear
Ripping you from the inside with every drop of a tear
Crushing your stomach and making your heart race
They pound down thoughts, without leaving a trace
Making you paranoid, angry, or sad
Stirring the pot continuously, driving you mad
Your head gets stuck in a whirlwind of black
Taking your eyes away and pulling you off track
Down to the depths the demons drag you away
Pushing you on impulse without anything to say
In the bottom of the endless blue pit you sit with dismay
As the demons dance in your head and taunt you all day
They taunt, "no will! no will! don't try to fight"
"You cannot get rid of what's not in sight!"
But then, you stand up and say, "Yes i can, I have the will to keep the fight"
"You cannot keep me down no, I will turn this darkness to light"
