RIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG. The first warning Bell rang. I ran towards the school in a hurry. I'd already been late to many times this week. I couldn't be again.
When I got to my locker, I put my coat inside and walked towards my homeroom with my backpack thrown over my shoulder. I sat down next to my best friend and pulled out my binder.
"Hey Johnny" Alex whisper shouted as he leaned forward, his black hair fallen over his face. "Apparently there's a new girl coming today!"
"Cool." I said as I nodded my head. "You gonna launch at her the way you do to every girl you meat?" I raised my eyebrow and asked rolled his eyes.
"Maybe, depends what she looks like and whether or not she's a total slut."
I grinned and nodded my head. Just then, out of the corner of my eye I saw her. She had light blonde hair that was pulled into a ponytail, a face like an angel, a long sleeved shirt with blue skinny jeans.
Both me and Alex shot each other a look. I knew that if I didn't call it, he would steal her from my grasp and I would totally lose my chance.
"Mine" I blurted out before he even got the chance to breath. He slapped his knee and swore that if it didn't work, I would have to be his wing-man. Great. Just great.
