The moon shone brightly as the two woman walked on. Both were tired but they still kept going.

"Mother," the younger one started. "Why are we going back? All we have there are bad memories. We can't possibly have a good life there." Her mother sighed and looked at the moon. It was a full moon and the most brightest stars surrounded it as if it was their leader.

"We have to Elsa. We don't fit in but we surely will have a good life. I promise."

"Don't you remember what they did to father? They...they killed him!" Elsa yelled with teary eyes. It was true. The Queen had accused him of a crime and thrown him into the dungeon. There, after a few years, he mysteriously died. No one knew how, but Elsa believes it was the Queen. And from then on, she despised the royal family.

"I know. I know he died. But how can you possibly accuse the Queen? You don't know what happened, Elsa. Don't accuse without any proof." Her mother frowned and walked ahead. Iduna was her name. She was the normal house wife and the perfect mother any child could ask for.

Elsa stared at her mother and sighed. She followed her from behind. Her eyes were fixed on the ground.

"If father was here, then none of this would have happened," she mumbled and looked at her mother. Elsa didn't know how her mother could cope with her father's dead. She couldn't believe her mother actually trusts the royal family. Yes she doesn't have any proof but she just knows the Queen had something to do with it.

The two walked on and on through the night. The moon watched their every step and smiled.

Fate is going to change every opinion Elsa has of the royal family.

It was like hell for him. The soon-to-be-King was listening to everyone's problems. The prince sat on the chair and sighed. People came in and out of the kingdom, thinking that he was going to do something about it. But this is Jack. A cold blooded creature who can out stand the devil.

"Your majesty," one woman curtsied. Jack rolled his eyes and let her continue. "I have been pleading for weeks. Please just let my husband go," the woman begged on her knees. Her tears didn't work on him. Nothing cared to him anymore.

"Your husband is a thief."

"He was a trusted servant of yours!" She cried. But this had no impact on him. He just groaned and got up.

"Guards!" He called. Like a flash of light, two loyal guards came to his call. "Take her to the dungeon."

They exchanged worried looks. The guards weren't so cold hearted like Jack but what can they do? They're just servants of the royal family.

"But you're majesty, she hasn't done any wrong. How can we charge her of a crime when she didn't do any wrong?" One of the guards asked. He immediately regretted it as the prince gave him a glare.

"Are you questioning my judgements?"

"N-no sir," he replied and gulped.

"Then what are you waiting for? Throw her into the dungeon." They bowed and took ahold of the woman. She cried out for mercy but no one listened.

"Please! Let me go!" She cried and cried but there was no one to help. As the guards took her away, Jack turned to the line of people and glared.

"I have no time now. You're dismissed!" He yelled and everyone panicked. They rushed out of the kingdom and into their homes. Jack sighed and walked through the corridors. He ran his hands through his hair and groaned. Jack hated being a prince. There were too many responsibilities and he wasn't ready. He just wanted to be free and just be normal.

"Jack," a sweet voice called, making him turn around.

"Mother." The Queen walked towards him with a frown. She hadn't expected her son to grow up to be so cold and unloving. So, she thought it was the perfect time to say it.

"How many times have I told you? They're innocent people. They don't deserve to be treated that way." There was a wave of silence as the Queen sighed. "It's time for you to find a wife."

Jack gasped and widened his eyes. "What? What?! What?!" He yelled. His voice was heard through out the kingdom. It was that loud to be heard through the whole kingdom.

"It's time for you to find a wife," the Queen repeated, remaining in posture. She watched her son go crazy and she resisted the temptation to laugh.

"How can you say that? A wife? I can't possibly find a wife! I don't need a wife!"

"Jack, these are rules that must be followed. You're going to be twenty in a week. So, on your birthday party, sixteen candidates will be participating to be your wife. Out of all the sixteen women, you will pick one name out from random. Then, the chosen girl will be your wife," she explained. Jack groaned. Pick a wife from random? He can't possibly do that. He hated things like this. For once, can't it go his way?

"So you're saying that this is all just a game?" His mother shook her head.

"Of course not. This is serious. Sixteen normal girls will have the opportunity to be a royal."

"Normal girls?" He asked, exaggerating the word 'normal.' The Queen nodded. "Why normal girls? Why not royal princesses or something?" He questioned.

"Because our kingdom does not make contact with other royals." Jack raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms.

"And why is that?" His words were sharp and sounded mean. But the Queen smiled.

"They are enemies," she answered. "Now, we have to make preparations for your birthday party and wedding." The woman turned around and started walking. She just hoped that her son will find the right wife. It was the best way to change his ways and make him more lovable.

Jack sighed and walked into his room. He couldn't argue with his mother any longer. He was obviously going to lose anyway. Sitting down, he put his head into his hands and groaned. The prince just wanted to scream and just let his anger out but being the prince has its disadvantages. There were rules he must follow.

1. Always be loyal to your subjects
2. No contact with enemies
3. The prince/princess must choose a wife/husband by random
4. No shouting or yelling

The list goes on and on. Of course, he has already broken two of the rules but he didn't care. Rules are meant to be broken anyway. But choosing a wife was impossible. And by random? He couldn't believe this. And to think his life wasn't going to get any worse, it just did. But maybe, just maybe, he could just vanish or become someone else. He hated the life of a prince. Sure people dream of being royal but they don't know the things he has to go through. Oh being a royal was a nightmare.

Jack just wanted to swap lives, live somewhere else being someone else. But that's not possible at all. What was he going to do? Was he actually going to pick a random wife and go through all of this? Well, he doesn't have a choice.

Goodbye single life and hello to a new hell called 'marriage.'
