You were sitting in your stupid weaponry-summoning class. Lucky you, it was the last class of the day. You kept staring at the clock, hoping if you stared at it long enough, it would make time go by faster.
You looked over, catching the boy across from you, smirking. You passed a note to him.
'What are you looking at?!'
He just shook his head then chuckled. The Teacher, Ms.Pearl, caught them.
"(G/N)! Hematite! Pay attention!"
You both sighed and you banged your head on your desk. He chuckled again. That stupid chuckle of his. You hated it. But you thought it was kind of cute at the same time. Why do you feel this way? You just noticed him! For God's sake...
Ding dong ding
You jumped up out of your chair, happy as can be that it was the weekend now.
"YES!!" You yelled and bolted out of the door. Hematite did the same thing, but almost fell on his face like a doof. He mumbled profanities at the ground and desk that almost tripped him before he followed out.
You went to your favorite place ever, Rocky Hill, and plopped straight down, landing on your back. You sighed a breath of fresh air, content. Placing your hands behind your head, you heard another person lay down next to you, but a fairly far distance. Like, a friendly distance.
You looked over and made an angry expression. "What do you want?" You looked over, and to your surprise, it was that same guy that was next to you in class and got you in trouble! That prick! You still gave him a hateful glare, but now that you get a better look at him, you think he's kinda cute.
"WHAT NOOKSNIFFER?" He yelled. You jumped at his voice, since it was really loud and you're sensitive to such noises. You got nervous, a bit scared. "N-nothing..." you STUTTERED. Shiiiiiiit. He looked up at the sky too, a sad expression appearing.
"Sorry..." he used a quiet voice. Is that his voice? Or is it the first one? God that confused you. You looked back up at the hues changing, it was beginning to be night and you yawned. He started to get up and leave.
You hesitated, but grabbed his wrist anyway. "I-I'm (G/N)" He smirked slightly and moved your hand. You got confused, again. You seem to get confused a lot. Why? I don't know. Only you do. "Hematite, but my friends call me Karkat." He was calm.
That must be his real voice you thought. Your eyes hurt..MY EYES HURT OH MY GOD you didn't even realize you haven't been blinking and closed your eyes for a while. "Hm," you spoke, "people call me (G/N/N)."
He got up again, this time you didn't stop him. You think you've had enough Hematite today. "WELL I GOT TO GO FUCKASS" okay, now you're sure that's his normal voice. You waved goodbye and smiled. "Okay, see you later. "
