I hear footsteps outside my room. I walk to the door pressing my ear to it. I hear mumbling, then yelling, causing me to jump back. I go back to my desk and look at myself in the mirror. I see my reflection staring back at me. My icy cold blue eyes, my white hair, my rosey cheeks. I stand up to observe the dress I was wearing. It was a pink ball gown with purple bows all around the waist. I hear something being slid under my door. I turn to see a letter on my floor. I grab the letter and open it.

"Dear Princess Kikioa,

It's time to take this plan in action. Head to the bathroom and go through the tunnel in there. You'll be safe, I know you will.

When you get to the tunnel, do not look back no matter what you hear or what you think you hear, do not look back, and do not wait for me. I will meet you where we use to meet each other when we were little, and if I do not show up head to the next town and look for someone named Alice. She will give you a bed to rest on and food for your journey. After that head two towns over, find a girl named Hazel, you will stay with her for awhile. You'll know what to do after that.

Best of luck on your journey, and keep in mind and never forget

I love you.

Prince Ikuto

I close the letter and head to the bathroom. I go straight to the third brick from the door and push on it revealing a hidden door. I hear my handle being turned and I hurry into the tunnel, looking back for a second then I pull the lever to my left causing the door to close. I stand there for a minute mumbling to myself "Ikuto you better be at that tree" then I stop mumbling, I hear men's voices in my room yelling. "Where's the Princess!" said one with a really deep voice. I started to run down the tunnel, trying not to hit the damp walls.

I run for what seemed like forever, then I see a door. I get to the door and put my hand on it pushing it open.

~AUTHOR'S NOTE~

How did you enjoy the prolog?

Are you angry? Mad? Sad? Confused?

This is a story that i'm trying to work on my descriptiveness.

I noticed in other stories I wrote (which there's a lot if you want to read more just tell meh) I wasn't as descriptive and it kinda made me sad.

Well anyway I hope you liked the prolog, i am really trying my best on this story.
