After rescuing Parvati, William started heading back to the Templar base, where it was placed after the British controlled most of India. Will couldn't stop replaying that image, that was running through his mind. He couldn't stop thinking about Parvati. Though, he shook that image inside his head, but Will couldn't stop his feeling that was developing, inside. As he was heading inside the base, a man with a white button up shirt, black tie, pants, and cobbler shoes stopped him at his tracks. "McGuffin, where were you," he asked angrily.
"I was just helping a civilian, who fell from a nearby lake, Lord Grimes," William, replied.
"Oh really? And who was that civilian?"
Will was in deep thought. He can't blurt out the viallge girl's name. Templars work for the British, so Will's not sure if he should tell Grimes or not. In fact, he can't even tell how much he has feelings for her. He doesn't even actually know, if he does! "Just an ordinary civilian, sir. I can't give you details," William lied.
The captain scratches his chin, looking at him curiously. Luckily, He doesn't notice a subtle sweat, rolling down on Will's forehead. "Just don't lounge this up, McGuffin," Grimes, demanded. "We have work to do, and you have to live by the code, just like your father."
After he said that, the captain heads inside the base. What tough love, William thought, in disgust. He would live upto his father, but William doesn't think that his father would be like that. He takes his handkerchief, and dries off that sweat from his forehead. Instead of following the captain inside, Will decided to change plans, heads back to the building, so he can continue scanning the city.

At last, Parvati is back home, resting inside her shanty home. It's not much of great home, but this is how much her and her family can afford, to live here. Parvati could not help but replay that incident, inside her head. She even couldn't help but think about that guy, who had saved her. Parvati never seen this person, around her village. No man shall ever touch a girl. In fact, no British soldier or a commoner of the British should EVER help an Indian. After all, every men and women in India are under the British reign, and they're taxing the people and making them as slaves.
It's hard to deal with the fact that India has no freedom. Too bad my mother is not here to help us, Parvati, thought. At the age of six, her mother passed away from jaundice. Her father couldn't afford medical treatment. After her mother's death, Pitaji was working on the field. He was tortured from the Indian soldiers, who work with the British. Her father tries to make money, no matter what it costs. Every night, Pitaji would come home, with new marks on his back. Pitaji would only try to do this, for his family.
Unfortunately, since he can't support his family, Parvati's father has no choice but to have her only daughters, to have an arranged marriage. Parvati was begging her father to not do this, but all Pitaji said, "Then what could I do?! I have no option, but it's for your own good. I must save you, in order for you two to live."
Parvati did not want to marry. She wishes she could work, but no one could hire her. Even her father forbids Parvati or Annu to work on the fields, because of the British. So the only time she can have some freedom, is that his father would let Parvati do some errands. It would do her some good, but not enough. If only something would whisk her away from her feet.
Late at night, her father comes home out of breath, shutting the door behind him. Annu and Parvati rushes over to him. "What has happened to you, Pitaji," Annu asked, her eyes getting teary.
He manages to catche his breath, but staggers a bit. "The soldiers," Pitaji said. "They're after me. And they'll be coming after you, too."
Annu and Parvati hold each other, for support. They're both shaken at the fact that the soldiers are coming. "We must hide, Pitaji," Parvati cried.
"You two must hide," Pitaji, yelled at them. "I'll cover for you."
"No, Pitaji!"
"Not another word," he barked. "Do what I say, and never come out!"
With no hesitation, both of the sisters started heading to their rooms, and hide. For a while, they remained hidden, until hell broke loose. The soldiers arrived at their home, and started banging at their door. Finally, they break the door open. "Where are they," one soldier said, gripping Pitaji's shirt.
"You will not find them, sir," he stuttered.
The soldier growled, and commanded, "Search everywhere, for them."
All the soldiers ran inside, and scattered every furniture and stuff in their house, as they try to search. The soldier, who was clinging to Pitaji's shirt, had shoved him away and did the same with the rest. They searched every nook and cranny, until they reached into Annu and Parvati's room. They even scattered their belongings, until they grabbed both of them by their hair, and pulled them out of the curtain. Annu and Parvati were screaming and crying, as the soldiers were dragging them. "Let's go, men," the soldier commanded.
As they head towards the door, Pitaji tries to stop them. "Let them go," Pitaji cried, in anguish. "They don't deserve it. Take me in!"
Pitaji would not budge, until one of the soldiers uses his sword, and cut him open. "PITAJI!" Parvati cried loudly, and covers her ears.
He lied motionless, once the soldier killed him. Then, the soldier kicked the girls, and kept on dragging them out. When they head out, Parvati didn't notice that one of her ankle bracelets had fallen out. Once all of them were out, a few soldiers poured gas, and lit a match to burn the house down. The girls looked and cried loudly, as they were dragged. "Stop your crying, and get moving," the soldier yelled at them.

William had witnessed everything that happened, ever since the soldiers were heading towards the village. He was sitting atop on the tree, when that happened. He even witnessed the girl's house being burned down. So once the soldiers were gone, William climbs down and inspects the burnt house. What an atrocity, Will thought, angrily. When he was heading down the same path that the soldiers had took, Will sees the bracelet sparkling on the ground. He picks it up, and looks at it. Must have been belonged to Parvati, Will thought, again.
He puts it inside his coat pocket, and hurries down to rescue her and her sister.
