Last week,

It was past mid-night;

A jeep came,

Stopped near my neighbour's house,

Inside the house in total darkness;

I peeped through a broken window,

I saw people who covered their faces.

I saw "them" talking,

To my neighbour's son;

Their gestures seem to tell me,

He must go with them.

He entered the jeep,

And it left in darkness.

We all entered in to dark silence.....

Years had passed,

His people never spoke a word,

About the incident on the night.

I dared not ask;

Their faces tell me something,

Wrong or Right i cannot judge.

I am a silent observer,

I am a coward,

I dare not speak,

For fear of something I am not sure,

I fear and I am a Silent Observer.
