4. back on track

"And we're back with Sway In The Morning! I'm sitting here with the one, the only, the beautiful Kehlani Lyon!"

I giggled and waved at the camera in front of me, "hey Sway, thank you for having me!" Sway nodded and grinned at me.

"Alright, so i'm here with Kehlani and to be honest, i'm bout to get down to business. There has recently been pictures of you, at Leviticus with your vagina all out, what was going on!?" Sway laughed, and I laughed with him.

I bit down on my lip and groaned as I put both my hands over my face. "Oh my god! Okay, well first and foremost I want to apologize to the younger kids that saw those pictures, and to their parents. But, honestly Sway, I can't even begin to explain how embarrassing those pictures are." Sway nodded and agreed with me. "Well, I was intoxicated. I drank too much, and partied a little too hard," I laughed and so did Sway.

"I could tell, I mean, the whole world did too! But, how does your father feel about these pictures being out for the whole world to see?"

"Oh boy," I took a deep breath and Sway began to crack up, I joined him soon after. "Well, my dad's obviously pissed. Any parent would be. But I feel like people forget that I am still young, and I am going to make mistakes. One of them obviously being drinking. People also forget that because I am the child of someone so famous everything I do is monitored by everyone."

Sway nodded his head and licked his bottom lip, "I see where you're coming from, but it seems that you also forget that since you are famous, you have fans, and a lot of those fans are young girls and boys who look at you as their role model. And if I was a parent to one of those kids, I'd be pissed that my child is looking up to you, and you're being so careless, and basically promoting underage drinking and saying that being intoxicated to the point where showing your private parts is okay." I took a deep breath and nodded. I was beyond pissed.

"I'm not saying any of those things are okay. What I'm saying is that I made a mistake. I'm not telling these kids to go out and drink till they forget, that's what I'm trying to prevent actually. Let my mistake be an example. My pictures are out for the whole world to see, I would hate if something similar happened to these kids. I want them to take me as a lesson. I'm embarrassed, I regret it all and if I could take it all back, I would."  Sway smiled at me, and began clapping. I began to laugh.

"Alright, I like that, you owning up to your mistake! Now, there have been many rumors that you're working on some new songs, will we be hearing any of them soon?" My smile slowly faded, I gave Sway a dry chuckle, as we heard someone banging on the glass window, it was Jamie.

"Um, yeah, of course!"

Sway began to grin, and I copied him, "that's what I like to hear! Alright, thank you Kehlani for coming out here, I will see you soon"

I grinned and waved at the camera, I even sent a little kiss to it, and as soon as the camera's were off my smile fell.

"No you can't go in there!"

"Kiss my black ass Becky. Dad I-" I closed my mouth as soon as I walked into his office and noticed two people sitting in front of my dad's desk. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interru- hey mommy!" I grinned and ran up to Cookie to hug her. She wrapped her arms around me and I couldn't help but feel loved. Once we pulled away I looked at the man sitting in front of dad. It was uncle Vernon, I grinned and walked over to him, and hugged him.

"What is it Lani, i'm in the middle of something here." My dad said sounding upset.

"I'll just sit over here and wait till you're all done.." I made my way to the couch in the middle of my dad's office and too, my phone out.
