Chapter 6 ~

"Oh joy; they know what those necklaces do." Lani sarcastically commented. "I bet Lila over-heard us, figured it out, and made plans with your sister."

"You shouldn't worry about it unless they've woken up already though. I already have my own plans to take the necklaces back. And it'll back-fire on them perfectly." I added, pleased with how dramatic-movie-ish I sounded.

It was really quite simple, and it would get them to respect us, know that we know what they know, (Ok, that was confusing wording, but anywho...) and totally get revenge the old fashioned way. Yeah, we might prank them for much longer, but this was the best I could do for just today, and what we have.

Cadence and Lila do a lot of YouTube stuff, yet they don't know how to post the videos themselves. Lani or I usually have to do it, and that will help us out loads.

If they really want to post it on YouTube, they have to ask us to post it. If they don't want us seeing the video, they probably will do whatever they can so that we don't proof the video and watch it once more before posting it. Which is why this makes an awesome opportunity to make a totally different video mocking them.

"So, what exactly do we do to paste their face there?" Lani asked me. I was her computer geek, the one she consulted when she didn't understand something.

Leaning over her shoulder, I said, "Just right click, copy from that page, paste, and make it a little bit bigger to match Cadence's face." I pointed at the screen, showing Lani what to do.

"Ok, we're done now, right?" She looked at me hopefully, like she might die if we had to do more.

"And what if I said no?" I asked, cracking a smile both on her face and mine.

We quick saved it, and I had to paste it into a deleted place where the old video of Lani and I being pranked had been.

We were just in time, as Lila and Cadence knocked on the door. They came in without us saying yes, and asked, "Can you post a video for us?" in unison. It seemed normally like there was no way you could turn down those innocent and sweet faces, but we knew better than better what to say.

Lani calmly replied, "Sure, what's the video of?" We had planned to ask that, it could either make her stutter and prove she's lying, or just make her face get red and we still get results.

Sure enough, her face was only pink, but she stuttered the first syllable like so, "Ju-Just some u-updates."

We still kept calm, knowing if we didn't the whole plan might flop. After having them show us just which link to use to upload it, we took it from there while they watched. It seemed simple enough, they didn't ask or anything when we didn't proof-watch the video before posting it.

"Done." I said when it finished uploading. The two friends just stood there awkwardly, watching us as we watched them.

"Err; we're going to make some sandwiches." Cadence said, slowly backing out of the room and leaving with Lila close behind.

After they left, we couldn't help ourselves but to start to giggle with joy that our plan had worked.

"I just came up with another idea." Lani got all serious and stared at me. It occurred to me that if the girls were busy, then we could get busy on our own.

"And I think I'm thinking what you think you're thinking." I said, grinning even wider than I already was.

Lani was ahead of me, leading us to the younger girl's tent-o-line. Sighting the ladder at the ground and it leading up the tree towards/into the tent made me almost bounce with joy that this was working so well. Almost too well, but we couldn't worry about that now.

Climbing up the ladder and into the tent was harder than expected, but still possible.

And jeez, they left them right there? They really would have left the necklaces right in the middle of the tent, like a dramatic trap in a movie? Oh, well. I don't think Lila and Cadence expected this any way. Lani simply smiled and grabbed her necklace. I followed her, but almost cautiously. I took my necklace, and slipped it into my pocket. I would have grabbed Lani and gotten out as soon as possible, but there's no way it would be that easy.

Not when we both heard Cadence and Lila going on about (Randomly) Mayonnaise while getting closer and closer to the tent.
