Chapter 1: The Beginning

BOOM! SMASH! RUN! Run. Run was the only thing John heard. He looked around. He was outside seeing explosions, people running, and his own parents lying on the red ground of blood that used to belong to innocent people........lifeless. "How did all of this come to happen?" John asked himself. The tears that are coming out of his eyes are now going to his mouth. John stands up and yells. This attack is a war attack. The alien race, The Covenant are a war race, they attacked the humans for something they call "The Great Journey". The Covenant are made up of 5 alien races. Their weakest are the Grunts. Grunts are small aliens that usually carry around plasma pistols. Their sharp shooters are called the Jackals. Jackals are median sized dino like aliens that sometimes carry a Covenant carbine but most of the time carry around a plasma pistol. Their muscle are the Brutes and the Hunters. The Brutes are tall and hideous creatures. Their weapons of choice are spike shot and brute shots. The Hunters are big but slow creatures wearing a mask that covers their face. Their weapons are only the powerful plasma cannon. Lastly is The Covenant's highest rank alien race, the Elites. The Elites are also tall aliens that are highly intelligent and their weapons include covenant carbines, plasma pistol, energy sword, plasma rifle, and storm rifle. Suddenly one of the Covenant soldiers spotted John... an Elite spot him. John opened his eyes wide open, he looked at the warrior and then darted away. The Elite ran right after John. Surprisingly the Elite was pretty fast. John tried throwing some things at the terrifying creature but nothing seemed to work. The Elite appeared to have to no weakness. " Now what am I supposed to do?" John asked himself. Then he saw his old neighborhood. That gave him an idea. " The Elite might not have any physical weakness but he doesn't know my neighborhood like I do!" John said with enjoyment. John runs through his neighborhood. The Elite tried to follow but is then confused with the maziness of the neighborhood. John finally realizes that he has escaped the powerful Elite.*Smack!* Something smacked John in the face and is knockout by the blow. John wakes up only to see he was in an army ship........ a Pelican. John was only 6 years old at the time."Luckily I'm not tied up" John said

"Pssstt"said a shadowy figure.

"huh?" said John.

John curiosity overtook him like a cautious disease. He saw the figure run up some stairs John followed. The figure grabbed John and put him to sleep. By morning John had woken up. "huh, where-where am I ?" John asked himself

He looks around and he is in a dark room with one light on strapped against a tilted flat table "John smith I see you finally awoken."a figure said.

"Wh-Who are you and how do you know my name?!" John shouted with anger and fear.

"John", the figure tried to say.

"No!, where am I! I want to go back home! help! help! help! help! They have me captured!" cried John on top of his lungs.

"JOHN!" the figure yelled. John quieted down. "John you are here for many reasons."the dark figure said.

"what do you mean and who are you?" John said very sternly.

" You are here because the Covenant are on Reach and my name is Dr. Halsey." The figure said moving away from the shadows and into the light revealing her face.

" But Dr. I'm still confused." replied John.

"You will be one of the top military force soldiers" Dr. Halsey said to John.

" A soldier?" John asked in a confused voice. "But I'm not old enough, I am too young." John said in a scared voice.

"Not right now but in 9 years." said Dr. Halsey in an amused voice. "But until then you will be training in my facility to be become a soldier." Dr. Halsey explained.

"Ok." said John understanding ............ "When do I start?"
