The Saturday after
that was the ball.
I wore Ariel's special
dress because it was
a special night.
As I walked
into the school
gym I glanced over
at the dance floor to
see you dancing.
I ran over and
almost tackled

"Wow! You look
great!" You
exclaimed as you
handed me my
wrist corsage.
"Thanks! You do
too!" I said.
You were wearing
a black tux with
a purple tie.
"Okay! Time for
the slow dance,
so everyone get
one the floor
and slow dance,"
The dj said into
the microphone.
"Would you like
to dance?" you asked
me.
"I'd be happy to,"
I said grabbing
your hand.
