Do you remember the fairy stories from when you were little? Your mum telling you that like a princess you'll find a prince and live happily ever after? It's a good thing to tell your children. It gives them hope. But real life isn't like that. Is it? I wrap my arms around myself as the cold air spins round me my hair dancing in the wind. Im sad. If your prince is supposed to come get you he wouldn't leave. He wouldn't resue you and the abandon you. It doesn't make sense. I guess im the stupid one the one who actually believed in the back of my mind somewhere out there my prince was looking for me. Well he found me. But his band was asked to tour the States and he left. He barely said goodbye. And now im walking home from the coffee shop alone.
Then something happens that I can't explain even to this day. It feels as if someone is whispering in my ear telling me to turn round. As I spin round I have to blink a couple of times just to make sure im not dreaming. There he is - about three feet away from me. He's leaning against the wall hands stuffed in the pockets of his skinny jeans the corner of his lips turning upwards as he lifts hid head to look at me. "W-what are you doing here you're. supposed to be in America. On tour..."I stutter confusion dripping from each word I manage to speak. "If you love someone set them free.
