I jumped out of bed 7 minutes before the alarm on my phone was suppose to go off. I hurried into my bathroom that was attached to my bedroom to shower. I threw off my pajamas and turned the shower on, I felt the water with my hand before for jumping in to see if it was too hot or not.
While I was shampooing my hair I couldn't stop thinking about how the meeting with my photography teacher, Mrs. Shelton would go. I was suppose to get to school early to drop off the memory card from my camera. Mrs. Shelton wanted to look at them and let her husband use some of them for his students. He was a professor with art at the Mills College in Oakland, California. He wanted his students to do a project on some of my work. Do an essay on their feeling towards the picture, what they thought the surroundings were around the picture when I took it, draw it them self and other stuff. I was super excited, tons of other people will be seeing my photographs.
Photography is my passion. It explains things better than words I feel. It's so much more powerful. They're memories that will last for ever. Each picture will have millions of words to it. Even if it's just a plain white background. The mood. The feeling. The reason. So much more...
I rinsed out the shampoo and quickly put a little conditioner in and washed my body as fast as I could. I stepped out of the shower and an icy breeze slammed against my bare skin and I totally regret leaving my window open last night. I quickly threw on a sweat shirt and sweat pants to wear while I was doing my hair and make up. I brushed through my hair that went to my hips and parted it to the side, I decided I wouldn't straighten it or curl it today so I just left my long wavey hair fall against my arms and back. For make up I decided not to do much and just put eyeliner on the top lids and put a little mascara on. I walked to my closet and pulled out a bright pink long sleeve v-neck that fit my body perfectly and a black cami to go underneath and threw on a pair of leggings that went to my ankles, I searched in the back of my closet for my white uggs, I found them and pulled them out. for some reason they were tucked under my ski boots from 4 years ago. I pulled on a pair of socks and got my shoes. I walked over to my window to finally shut it. I grabbed my phone off the charger and put it into my back pack. I grabbed that, and my keys that were on the table next to my bedroom door and ran down the stairs. My sister Emma was making herself a french-vanilla cappiccuino in the kitchen.
"Hey did you want me to make you one too?" Emma turned around looking at me extremely exhausted but all ready for school today. She was only a year younger than me but we still looked nothing a like what so ever. She had golden blonde hair that went way past her shoulders, but still shorter than mine. It was wavier than mine and a little thinner. She had bright green eyes and a perfect pale complexion. And she had bright pink lips that were the perfect shape. And my face was a little narrower than hers. We still had the same figure though, except I was a few inches taller than her.
"Uhh.. no I think I'm good, I'll have Clayton bring me Starbucks, but thanks." She smiled and turned back around to pour herself a cup. "Can you tell Trenton if you see him before you leave that he needs to give me my ten dollars back? We need to turn our money in for the field trip we're going to go on in French class and I don't have any money on me. Plus I forgot to ask mom or dad before they left this morning."
"Yea sure, I probably won't leave till he does."
Trenton was my brother. He was a year older than me and once again.. I look nothing like him. My sister, brother, dad and mom all look like eachother. They all have perfect blond hair and amazing green eyes. Except my brother and I both have a natural tan look. We get that from our dad. That's about all I have in similar with my family I guess.
"Ok, thanks. I'll see you at school then. I gotta get their early to..."
"Give your teacher your card thing, yes I know. You were talking about it all night at dinner last night" Emma finished my sentence laughing.
