flowers can't grow
until the rain says hellobut flowers can't bloom
if the sun doesn't shine throughand flowers can't emerge
if their minds are at purgeand flowers can't blossom
if they feel they're forgottenand flowers can't burgeon
if they know they're a burdenflowers can't thrive
if they hate being alive
