I woke up to my alarm blaring Watsky, same as every morning. I quickly turned it off and got out of bed. I shuffled through my closet and pulled out a pair of athletic shorts and an oversized t-shirt tucking the front in a little bit. I found my pair of Nike shoes and a pair of socks and slipped them on. After I was done with my hair and makeup I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen to find my mom making some toast and eggs. I opened the fridge and started getting things together for my lunch.

"Did you want some honey?" she asked.

"No thanks, I'm just going to eat a banana." I kissed her on the cheek and headed towards the front door.

"Do good on your finals!" She hollered.

"I will!" I hollered back as I walk out the door.

I walk over to the boys house and Clemet is waiting in his car, I open the passenger door and get in.

"We're waiting for Crispin" he informed. "His truck broke down again, so it's in the shop."

Crispin walked out of the house and climbed in the backseat.

"What makes you think that you get shotgun?" he asked.

"Because she gets shotgun." Clemet said as he backed out of the driveway.
"Exactly" I sneered.

When we pulled into the school parking lot I got out of the car and reached in to grab my backpack when I felt someone smack my ass then I was pushed back into the car. I stood back up and ran up grabbing the handle on Crispin's backpack yanking it back as hard as I could making him fall to the ground. He laid there laughing before he stood up and walked into the building.

Today was the first day of our finals, with that being said we only have three classrooms we have to go to all day. They want to make sure to give you as much time as you need. I walk into Mrs. Hamilton's room and take my seat. She passes out these big packets and some pencils to those who need them. She informed us that after we're done we can go to the library to hang out.

After about an hour I was finished and had gone over it three times to make sure. I closed the booklet got up and quietly walked out to go to the library. I logged onto the computer and checked my email. I was never really sure about the whole college thing until a couple weeks ago, I decided that I would go to Northeastern State University, which is the one here in town. And it worked it out perfectly because I would be with my best friend. I opened an email from them saying I was excepted.

"Oh nice you're going there too?" Crispin asked as he sat down next to me.

"Yep, I guess so" I said.

"Me too."

"Wait what?" I asked confused.

"I got a football scholarship" he smirked.

"But they aren't really a big football school."

"Oh I know. But they are giving me a full ride and are going to put me up for the quarterback position. I don't actually find out if I get it until we start practicing though. And besides football isn't my career choice anyways."

"Ahh I see, well good for you" I congratulated.

"Uh, hell yeah good for me. Do you know how many girls I'll be rackin' up?" he smirked.

"Classy" I rolled my eyes.

At lunch time I walk into the lunch room and sit down, a minute later Clemet does the same.

"So for some good news... I got accepted to NSU" I smiled, then watched his face brightened up.

"Yes!" he exclaimed in excitement. "I'm so glad you changed your mind!"
