 Chapter 11,

Pania stood frozen in front of the Tree and its stunning beauty. She quickly stumbled towards it pulling on the rope that held her to her horse. The green circle that shone around it seemed to shrink somehow. She circled it. The tree was not completely green. The halo of glow did not cover the leafs at top. They were brown and rotting they blew off easily with a simple blow of the wind.  But it was still the only thing that had life in what seemed to now be a desert.

Suddenly there were metal feet clasping the ground like thunder. She stammered in her mind what to do, they were coming. Pania didn’t realize she had crossed the border. No southerner was supposed to be there. Once you look at it the People of the Northern marvels had no rights at all. Did they know she was there, maybe. Were they going to kill her if they found her, probably.

The clashes came closer and faster along with the black wind. A spectrum of dust that had come from the ground blinded Pania. Her eyes felt heavy and she knew she soon would fall. Her hand stretched to the tree in an effort to maybe hide from the knights.

A dense wind a sweet nectar smell of grass. She was indeed falling but not from the prick of a sword. The world didn’t feel silent and peaceful, before war and greed. Glamour is what they called it. Fairies were lies. Just a fantasy that killed. She wasn’t one. It didn’t seem like a world she wanted to be in.

Gray covered houses and hard square grasses that grew only wide. She looked around. A street with a thin yellow light. That was not grass, it seemed like dry tiles. A dusty wind that created fireworks when light hit it was what she saw. Never had she seen something like that. La ndry. Large words hung on a dry blue wall, a letter seemed to be missing . That didn’t stop Pania from entering.

There was only one thing that she saw. A boy.

Hey there! Sorry I did not upload everyday like I said. I had a busy week and lots of movies to see (Winnie the Pooh is awesome!) And I’m also taking a video editing class so I had to do stuff. Anyways the real thing I need to say is The contest, that you probably have read the rules about in the other chapter will end on the 22th so hurry for the chance to win the book.
