~Harry's POV~
I looked back at the girl who opened the door. She looked familiar, but I couldn't place her for a second. Then, it hit me. How could I forget?
"Hi." She says in a monotone voice. I scan over her face again and speak.
"Olivia?" I say and she nods. She was really pretty. I don't remember her being this pretty. "May I?" I say, gesturing to the door. She doesn't say anything; she just turns and walks the other way. I watch her hips swing and admire her ass in her jeans. "You grew up nicely." I say. She turns her head and gives me a pissed off look. I laugh to myself and how cute she was.
I followed her into the kitchen and saw her mom smile at me. My mom sees me and gets up to give me a hug.
"Thank you for coming, honey." She says, kissing my cheek. I flush because Olivia is seeing my mother treat me like a child. I nod in response.
Mrs. Roberts comes up to me next and gives me a hug.
"Little Harry, you're so grown up." She says wrapping her arms around me. "You're so handsome, isn't he Olivia?" she asks, looking at her daughter. Olivia looks absolutely mortified and I chuckle.
"Mom." She says, annoyed. Her mother shrugs at her and then looks back at me.
"You look so much like your mother." She says, looking into my eyes. I did get my mother's eyes. I was used to getting this comment.
"Thank you." I said. Her mother was so nice. I remember her always making Olivia and me sandwiches after we played together. "The food smells amazing." I say taking off my coat.
"Olivia, would you mind taking Harry's coat and hanging it up?" Mrs. Roberts asked. Olivia didn't look too thrilled, but she obliged. Why was she acting so pissy? I don't remember her being like this.
"Thanks," I said, handing her my coat. She quickly took it from my hands and exited the kitchen. I couldn't help but watch her hips again as she walked. She did not look like that the last time I saw her, that's for sure. I looked around for a place to sit. I wasn't sure if they had like assigned seats or something.
"Harry, you can sit right here." Olivia's mother said, pointing to the chair on the side facing the wall. I nodded and walked over, taking a seat. Olivia came back moments later and sat in the seat across from me. I was glad I got to be able to see her. Mrs. Roberts, who now insists on me calling her Jen, brought the dinner to the table and served all of us. The food was delicious and I went up for a second plate.
"So, Harry, are you going to school?" Jen asked.
"Yea, I went to university back home and now I'm at the community college until I find a school I want to transfer to." I say.
"Really? Olivia goes to community college too!" she says excitedly. "I'm surprised you two haven't run into each other."
"Yea, me too." I say. I wished I had run into her, I would've loved getting to know her again. We knew each other really well when we were younger, but that was years ago. She seemed like an entirely new person now. My legs accidentally brushed against hers under the table while I was shifting positions. I looked up at her and she was staring back at me with wide eyes. I gave her an "I'm sorry" look and continued eating. She was intimidating. She would scare me, but she was a little too small and a little too pretty to really scare me.
We continued eating dinner and carried on boring conversation. Once I was done, I thanked Jen and got up to clear my plate. I brought it over to the sink to rinse it off. Olivia came up shortly after and did the same. My mom was opening up the bottle of red wine and pouring it into glasses.
