I was going to do this yesterday, but my iPod died and I forgot after that, so...here's yesterdays.
I saw the question "Act 1 or Act 2?" and I started freaking out. My initial answer was going to be "HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE", but then I started thinking about it, and I like Act 1 better. Obviously, it's hard to decide, but I like Act 1 because of how much Elphaba and Glinda's relationship grows and flourishes. Although, I love No Good Deed and For Good, I also like Popular, The Wizard and I, and Defying Gravity. The thing is, I hate the endings of both acts. I mean WHY DIDN'T GLINDA GO WITH ELPHABA DURING DEFYING GRAVITY? WHY DID SHE HAVE TO CHOOSE HER PRIDE AND POPULARITY OVER HER BEST FRIEND?
And then, the second act us just like NOOOOO! ELPHABA, GO BACK AND TALK TO GLINDA EVEN THOUGH FIYERO DOESN'T WANT YOU TO!
At least Glinda and Elphaba make up in the end.
So, yeah...Although I like the first act better, I am not a huge fan of the endings. I love Wicked as a whole, though. (Obviously)
