Character Into

Joe Woods: 17 years old. Joe never cared about school. She lived for the wild side and was all about trouble. Going in and out of jails and shelters, Joe wasn't really a criminal. Although she has shoplifted a few times, is a smoker, and has an I don't care attitude when it comes to authority. Although Joe sounds like a parents worst nightmare Joe is all about family and helping others. She has a big heart but most of the time gets covered up by her hard core attitude. Ever since her mom and dad had vanished she hasn't been the same since. She decides to put her life on hold to look for them. And tells Nathan to do the same. As the story goes on you'll see a massive character development. Will Joe change her childish ways? Or continue to let the past tie her down.

Nathan Woods:17 years old. A total opposite of Joe. Although Nathan may be 2 minutes older he takes charge and full responsibility of Joe and the life they live. A straight A kid who was artistic and thoughtful. His dream school was Harvard or Yale. He had the grades for it. He'd been saving up since he was 10 years old. But Nathan threw all that away, Because he knew that his parents and Joe was his top priority. Nathan was smart, a football player, has a beautiful girlfriend. Nathan was popular. None of that mattered anymore. Everything that people thought he was, was now meaningless. He never picked up a football ever again, left all his friends, and threw his academic dream away. It seemed like He didn't care sometimes. The day his parents left changed him in many ways. He became a bit more aggressive and depressed. But never failed to be a charm. As the story goes on you'll see a unbreakable bond between Joe and Nathan.

Officer Gen: 28 years old. Receives the case for the disappearance of Martha and Jeff Woods.  While getting called in for a report of a fight she meets Joe for the first time. Since that day Gen has been assigned to keep and eye out for Joe. Joe dose not like the whole idea of someone watching her behavior because Joe and authority don't mix. As time goes on she becomes to play a big role in Joe and even Nathans life. She becomes a mother figure for them and Joe learns to accept her.

Martha and Jeff Woods: Hard working parents who would do anything for their kids. Their goal was to have the perfect family and keep the family bond  unbreakable. While Nathan was the star child, Joe was the back talking child who fought with her mom and dad. But at the age of 17 and when people started to go missing she started to grow away from that and realized that every second counts. And she didn't want the last with her mom and dad to be bad.

Kate West: 17 years old. Girlfriend of Nathan. Her family is rich and well educated. She planned to going to collage with Nathan and was very upset when that plan was crushed. She can't stand Joe and Joe can't stand her. They'll always find something to bicker about. Snooty, Preppy, Rich, and a total Primadona .

Aunt Jessi: Very important to the story. She takes responsibility for Joe and Nathan. Not as much as Gen dose. 

All other characters that come along in the story will be introduced but these are the main people that play and important role in the story. The story will be told though Joe's eyes. Don't ask me why but ti might switch up to Nathans POV
