Chapter 4

2 Days Later

I was still so so so hungry as I heard the cellar door open. I quickly ran to the corner holding my knees and shivering. I saw the shadow of the same guy who came down here everyday and he did his annual hitting me until I was bleeding tradition. I was now sobbing and I collapsed to the floor. I felt someone carrying me but I was too weak to open my eyes. When I finally did I saw a head of blonde starring at me as lights were twinkling behind him. I then closed my eyes hearing screaming but everything was like in slow motion I could barely understand what he was saying. I opened my eyes a little more and saw a worried screaming Niall he was saying something like 'NOOO-You-No-Sleep!" I didn't understand him though, and I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up and heard people talking around me. I didn't open my eyes yet though, I was too scared. I then heard a deep raspy voice say "Is she awake yet? Can we jump on the bed?" Then I heard a voice that sounded like Louis, "Ooh yea!" I then felt someone closer to me and I knew like snap that it was Niall from his adorable accent "Guys you can't jump on her! She looks cute when she sleeps and I don't want anyone to disturb her" I smiled mentally then heard another deep voice who I'm pretty sure was Liam say "Sounds like someone has a crush" I felt someone dip down onto the bed pulling me close to them while saying "Nah, it's not like that! Plus.....she likes one of you guys anyways." Why is Niall so stupid sometimes! I got to note his stupidity later.....As I was thinking I felt someone stroking my cheek as someone says "Niall, that person could be you too though! Just promise us you'll try before it's too late." I'm pretty sure that was Zayn, I mean like I know he seems like a big tough guy but he's really good at giving advice and stuff when you need it. Then I hear footsteps leaving the room and the door shut. Although I never felt that dip in the bed leave. As I was thinking I heard Niall say "You know Brooke, I know you could wake up any minute now but I just wanted to say.....I think your perfect! Everything about you even your flaws make you perfect. That night we played truth or dare when you were asleep the boys were trying to prank you and I protected you, I will always protect you! After telling them to leave you alone Louis said, Niall if you don't want us touching her then lets see you do it and then he dared me to give you that hickey on your neck. Oh, how your skin was so soft and smooth I loved that moment but all through it all I could think was 'I wish she was awake' and 'I wish she felt the same way' I just....I....I just wish you liked me out of all the guys like it said in your journal. If I'm going to be honest I knew about the journal a long time ago, when we were moving in I was carrying some boxes to your room and the book fell out. So while you were in the lou I skimmed a few of the pages, I saw the letter explaining the book written in it and I found out about how all of me and the boys made you feel. I felt miserable after that and I did something I could never take back....I took a picture of a few of the pages and every night I read them. I just can't get those words out of my head and when you wrote about that anonymous guy I felt so bad how he left you when you both promised not to leave each other. But the thing is Brooke, he never left you....I'm anonymous! I got your twitter after like five hours of trying to find you on it just so I could get closer to you.....because...because....well, Brooke......I am madly inlove with you!" It hen felt Niall kiss my cheek and just as he was about to leave the room I opened my eyes a little more and saw him leave with a tear on his cheek. Now I had a plan.....and a good one too!

After a few minutes of thinking out my plan I finally headed down stairs...strange, the lads aren't here? I walked into the living room to see football playing on the TV and Niall sitting on the couch with his head in his hands which are sitting on his knees as he leans forward. I smiled lightly to myself then sat next to him rubbing his back "You okay?" I asked, but he obviously isn't. Niall jumped up then said "Oh yea, um sorry Brooke! Would you like something to eat or drink or um do you want to take a shower or....." I just laughed then said "Are you sure your okay?" Niall just nodded and smiled even though I could tell the smile was fake I went along with it. "Hey, um do you want to maybe go out tonight?" Niall spoke scratching the back of his neck. OK BROOKE DON'T FREAK OUT! CALM DOWN, DON'T DO ANYTHING RATIONAL HERE! "Sure" I said with a smile. Niall then smiled and said "Okay, um were something casual I'll knock on your door at seven and you don't really need anything maybe your phone but nothing else really" I just nodded then walked up the stairs. It was already six, dang I sleep a lot! I hopped in the shower using a good 15 minutes then got out and picked out a knee length flowing dress that looked really nice with some boots. Then I curled my hair and right when I finished I heard a knock on my door and Niall yelling "Oh Mrs.Brooklyn your acquaintance has arrived and is looking as fine as ever" I just laughed then opened my door to see Niall smirking with a white rose in his hand and he's wearing a purple and black button up shirt with a pair of tight jeans that fit him so well and his black converse. I smiled then grabbed his arm he was holding out for me. "So Mr.Horan where are we going" Niall smiled looking at me then said "For a walk then to eat under the stars. I smiled then we arrived outside in front of a path in our backyard. We were walking through the path as I saw a little hill with a blanket and a picnic basket on it. We sat down and while we were eating Niall looked up at me and started explaining everything he was saying to me when he thought I was sleeping I interrupted him by kissing him then by saying "I heard everything when you thought I was asleep and I love you too my little leprechaun" Niall smiled shyly then said "Everything?" I nodded and said "Everything, and remember that time we were in bed and you had that problem.....yea well I was awake then too. I'm just a good actress I guess" then smiled as Niall shook his head laughing. He stopped laughing then said "So, will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded and he then leaned in to kiss me again but before he could I smashed my lips onto his. BEST NIGHT EVER!!!!!!!!!
