THE MONSTER WITHIN ME PART 1

Part 1

      Finding out that I was a mutant wasn't the bad part, where I was, was the bad part. My parents knew I was going to become a mutant someday, but they did not know when. The were scared who's abilities I was going to get, or if I was going to get any at all. When I first found out that I was a mutant I was at school in history class. I discovered my abilities when I was pointing at a map showing where I would put a village, in the 1650's and the whole smart board fell completely off the hooks it hangs up on, but it did not hit the ground. It was levitating, and I was the one who was levitating it. I put my hand down and the board crashed against the ground. I screamed, and everyone except for me covered there ears and cried. I ran out of the room and out of the school.
When I got home my parents were watching tv, and I went to my room. My parents came up and asked what was wrong and I said "nothing I'm fine". My mom told my dad to go down stairs, he did and she used her telepathy on me and she read my mind. She asked me again what is wrong. She already knew what was wrong, but she wanted me to tell her myself. I finally told her. Surprisingly she was not mad, and she told me "don't worry, it is not as bad as it seems". All of my friends saw that happen mom I said. She answered with"your friends don't know what happened in the last 24 hours, that is how strong your telepathy is." I should have known she said. Known what, what is wrong with me, and what the heck is telepathy. She answered, and said you will find out soon enough.
The next day was worse than discovering I was a mutant, be cause I had to go back to the place I discovered I was a mutant. Luckily nobody that saw it remembered any thing at all except my best friend grace, she even came and talked to me about it. My mom was wrong. In science class we using nonflammable chemicals and there was a fire, only at my table. I was the blame. I had to go to the principals office, and I got a phone call home.
          When I got home I greeted my parents like nothing happened, I was going to talk to them about it, but then the phone rang. Without picking it up and answering I knew it was grace. I finally answered it and it was grace. She asked if she could come over, I asked my parents and they said yes. When grace got here she said she had to talk to me. We went back to my room, and she told me she knew that I was a mutant. She also said don't worry I won't tell anyone. I'm a mutant to. There was a moment of awkward silence. Then my parents came in and they said they needed to talk to me.
           When I got to school the next day I told grace that my parents told me that with my telekinesis and telepathy, I could become a more powerful and dangerous mutant, called the Phoenix they also said that if I do become that more powerful mutant, it would be really hard to control, and it could possibly kill me, and even the people around me. How could I be that strong of a mutant? Could I be that strong? But they also said that it might not even happen, because my mom was the Phoenix. She learned how to control it lucky for her.
             That night I had a dream. A baby bird came up to me and when I leaned in to pick it up it caught on fire, and turned into a bigger bird. The bird turned into a bigger one, and flew up in the air and, flew inside of me. When I woke up, I was in a whole body, tight, green suit. I screamed, and my mom came in at that moment, and when she did she gasped, like she did not know what had happened, but I knew she did, she knew it was the Phoenix. She was shocked. How could it happen, this can't be real she said. Mom I said calm down its not that bad, come on you controlled its power what's the difference between you and I, I said. The difference is, she said I was 19 years old, and you are 13.              
                Grace came over the next day because, my parents and her parents were at a reunion with there school mates. I told grace about what happened last night, and what my mom had said. She knew what the Phoenix was, but not what it's abilities are. I started to ask grace questions about her being a mutant, like what are your abilities, are your parents mutants, do your parents know you are a mutant? She did not answer any of them. I asked her who her favorite mutants were and she said rouge and ice man. Who are yours jean grey and cyclops I answered. Your parents. She butted in. Shut up I said. Ok ok fine. My parents are ice man and rouge. WHAT!! Do they know you are a mutant. Yes. Who's abilities do you have my fathers. Ice mans abilities. Really, all this time and, I never knew, I said.
