Finding Myself

The Decision

A/N : So how you guys like it so far? I will try to update often. I just started to write so this maybe not the best but I really try hard. Hope you like it.

~~~~~Last Day of school before Summer~~~~~~~~~

Third Person ( POV )

Faith is currently at her locker taking her Biology book out. She closed her locker and found Travis beside her. She screamed and hit his chest because she was scared. He started to laugh but it died down and said " Omg that was hilarious, you should've seen your face it was priceless".

" That was mean, you scared me to death". She said as she pouted. He just ruffled her hair and said "Sorry but you are just to easy to scare". Suddenly she heard the sound of heels hitting floor. 'shit the bitch squad' she thought and then the girls were standing in front of her with a 'sweet' smile and said "Oh look at we have here a pathetic girl with her faggot friend". Faith looked at her with a wicked smile and said " You can call me names but when you start insulting my friends that just had gone way too far ".

" So what are you gonna do about that,huh?" the girl asked. Suddenly there was a crowd surrounded them watching the scene.

"This" Faith said simply and swiftly knocked the girl on the ground and when she was down Faith punched her in the nose, hearing the girl's nose break. Regina screamed and was hauled to the nurse's office. Faith had a smile on her face and her face broke into a frown when she saw the principal.

" Faithlyn Connor my office Now!" the principal said to the girl and waited for her to march to the principals office.

When she arrived at the principals office she sat down on the chair in front of the table. The principal came in the room and sat down opposite of her and put his hands on top of the table and said "Miss Connor, can you explain what happen in the hallway and why you broke Miss Hudson's nose?".

Faith just stared and him and with a heavy sigh she said " She was insulting me which was bad enough but when she started to insult Travis something in me just snapped". The principal sighed and said " I will just give you detention because you are one of our star pupils and I better not be seeing any of this shenanigans from you again. You hear me?". Faith nodded and got up and headed to the door and thanked the principal and made her way to her class.

When she arrived at her class, the teacher asked her why she was late and she explain her situation. The teacher nodded and asked her to go to her assigned seating next to Travis. The minute she sat down she was hugged by Travis and she felt like squeezed to death. "Thank you for standing up for me and did you get in trouble with the principal ?" he said as he let her go.

" You're welcome and I just got detention plus can you like be a little more gentle with the hugging geez ?" she said while rubbing her sore arm. He just smiled at her and continued to listen to the teacher blabbering in front of the class.

~~~~~~ After school ~~~~~~~~

"Hey wait up " she yelled while running to Travis who was at his car.He looked at her and smiling while yelling " Hurry up" and she stopped right in front of him while panting and hunched over trying to slow down her breathing.

" You run so slow" he said while opening the drivers door followed by her with the passenger door.

" It's not my fault you walk so fast " said the blonde while putting on her seatbelt.

" When are you going to get a car anyway ?" said Travis " I can't keep sending you home, Fai ".

"Soon I hope, working at McDonalds doesn't really pay the bills you know" said the girl.

After a while they arrived at her house and she entered the house and straight away speed walked to her room not wanting her stepmother to notice. She took a shower and changed to a sweater and a pair of shorts. She is doing her homework while listening to 5 Second of Summer's new album. Around 10 pm she heard her stepmother screamed for her to come down.' That's strange she is not drunk for once' she thought while racing down the stairs not wanting for the 'monster' to wait any longer.

" What the hell was going through your stupid head when you decided to punch Regina Hudson's nose?" she questioned Faith. She could sense the anger that was radiating through her stepmother's face.

Feeling brave she said " She deserved that for all the things she has done to me ". That's when her stepmother snapped and charged towards her making her fall to the ground falling on her back.

'owww that stings ' she thought while trying to stand back up but her stepmother continued to punch her repeatedly and kicked her in the ribs and stomach. Faith was starting to feel dizzy and lightheaded and went unconscious. Her stepmother noticed this and stopped and spit at her face"Serves you right you ungrateful child" she said and made her way up to the bedroom.

~~~~~~~ A few hours later ~~~~~~~~~~

Faith woke up from her state of unconsciousness and was feeling so down that she just sat on the floor crying. A few minutes later something in her just snapped and she thought ' You know what I am done with this bullshit '. She got up and made her way to the bedroom and took all the precious memories of her dad and important necessities and trudge her way downstairs , she passed a mirror to look at the damage.

' This is for the best if I don't go things will get worse' she thought and hurriedly went to the front door. " Well good bye house " she said as she walked down the road and made her way to the nearest cafe and never looked back at the house.

When she arrived at the cafe , she pulls out her phone and dialed Travis's number. She waited for him to pick up.

"Hello?" said Travis while sounding that he just woke up from sleeping.

"Tray , I need your help " she said sounding a little desperate.

" What's wrong , Fai ?" he said sounding concern for his friend.

" I can't tell you over the phone just meet me at Quinn's Cafe , okay ?".

" Okay I'll be there in 15 minutes , ok bye see you there." he said and hung up.

She waited and not long after that she saw the familiar convertible drove up to her.She waited for him to close the door of the car before running up to him and gave him a hug.

" What happened to you?" asked the taller male seeing that she was bruised and bleeding still. She just sighed and dragged him somewhere private to talk.
